Currently I have some other priorities. i got fired today and starting a new job this week. It was kind of anticipated and wished for, my demise at my former employer. But still, starting all over again requires @work

This seems neat. I read the rules linked in the OP but they are a little confusing sometimes. I'm trying to understand the recent game between Gabe and mic, what is the opening discard mic made? Is that a POG rule or something?

Yes

In the original game there are up to 5 detectives, but we found that very unbalanced. Mr. X practically always got caught. We gave him 2 starting spots to choose from and even three double move tickets and Mr. X. still lost.

So we lowered the # detectives to 4. In that case you can be screwed over if 2-3 of your detectives are initially placed in the same area, so we rand 5 starting spots to the 4 detectives and allow the discarding of one of them. That reduces the amount of ****ty rands for the detectives, This variant we found much more balanced.

It is turn-based, without time pressure. I'd say it if is your turn, you are expected to move within 24h
