Does the serial killer have to kill people at night? Or is it an option? I can see him not wanting to narrow down for the wolves who he is later on in the game. It seems like a virtually impossible role to win with, but can really fark the village up if he gets a seer. And I think he will be seerhunting every night. He wants there to be as much confusion about the roles as possible, and doesn't want the village to ever lock things up. He also doesn't want to be peeked villager, because the wolves will kill him after the seer dies. So leaving seer cover will be extra important this game.

Seers: I strongly advise reading this strategy guide. Cliff's notes is that good peeks are players who are likely to live a long time, and not necessarily whomever you think is most wolfy. In fact a seer who gets to the end game with all villager peeks is about the best thing possible.

Serial killer can also make for weird end game scenarios where there is a Final 6 instead of a Final 5. or Final 4 instead of a Final 3. What happens if the Final 4 is 3 villagers and 1 wolf? Villagers lynch a villager, wolf NK's a villager, and then theres 1 villager and 1 wolf left - does that mean it's a tie?

Dear Brian, I strongly recommend typing out an entire strat article to help out our poor little serial killer, I am sure he does not have enough mateiral on the subject yet. Seriously wth are you doing?

Although I fully agree that he should try to avoid hitting seers for as long as possible, cos early seer deaths will seriously disrupt the balance of the game and will make it virtually impossible for him to make the final three (simply because if the seers die too early, the pups will have the game locked and there will be no "final three").

I think it's best if we get possible motives for roles out in the open - serial killer is something we'll be discussing all game.

On the topic of the final 3: does the sk have to get to final 3 lynch the wolf and kill the villager to win?

Wolf post, imo. Village will be discussing the killer all the time. What would be really funny - endgame of 4 or 5 plain villas and the killer. Killer of course already seer "cleared".

Just kidding, seriously, read the strat guides, all of them, and read a couple of game threads.

Try to figure whose behaviour fits which role, look for tendencies, voting patterns, tone, whatever. But perhaps better not try to overinterpreting things as a lot of people are just talking a lot of ****. Concentrate on their "meaningful" posts.

Many people here have already played a couple of games with each other and/or know each other from other boards. So there's loads of bull****-talk. Even more since it's day1 and nobody has any information (apart from the wolves, that is, ldo).

So watch the show, try to have fun. Serious gaming will begin once the first wagons are rollin and somebody looks at the gallow/bonfire.

WinEvry is screaming wolf to me. Karak popped in with a wolfy first post, and is a person I think I will learn a lot from wagoning based on previous games. Also, he's not AFK, and as we all know lynching AFK Day 1 = bad.
