That was his only post and had Europe up there so I imagine yes, he's usually pretty direct

I wasn't against it but almost thought something like Carta woulda be a zeus clue looking for Europe, just wanted to consider some other options

im not saying church is the best choice, and there are religious vows, but i also think religious is a thing. like for sure there such a thing as sharia law

i don't really like church at all. or at least not better than europe. isn't the whole thing with religion the opposite of laws? while society (europe) has them? idk

i'm also fine with bear as that's the only pet word afaict

im fine with being outvoted on church. i don't feel that strongly about it.

but i will fight for it a little more.

erv was wrong when he said religious law wasn't a thing.

insanity was wrong when he said religion is the opposite of laws. in usa we have separation of church and state, but usa might have been the first, or one of the first, countries to do that. not all countries have that, and for sure didn't have it before.

i think there is a famous phrase like "laws of god and man"

but yeah.. don't feel that strongly about it, and if that doesn't convince you, then im happy to let it go

more direct connection imo. and they probably have more laws than a church

and the clue mighta been different. like commandments... or vow like ervin said. but maybe those don't get draft?

Yapperdoodle all you want about the churches, I just thought the clue would be 'vow' for this word combo and not get us talking about religious law, church just seems not our word

I guess my vote is Europe unless we have a better equity play in making up pet...and bear is the only animal up there

i'm fine with either, but we should definitely stop after one guess since we can't win here

bear is probably the safest, but we don't solve the europe/church debate, so it might be tougher if we get another turn

don't think it matters too much tho equity wise. i'll prob be afk so fire away
