The stripper kept calling me Robin. It was putting me on life tilt. Also, it's a dumpy joint with like 5 dances, and the 2 semi-decent looking girls wouldn't even give dances. DAFUQ?!??!?! Also, overpriced for the drinks. Ended up spending $300.

Then we went back to a friend's house and I paid a girl $100 to smack her boyfriend as hard as she could and then paid another dude another $100 to smack the same guy. Money well spent.

Anyone know how to upload/post videos from phone?

doesn't work
the app won't even allow for the upload of pics, let alone video.

I'm looking at poker books recommended in the LLSNL thread. There's a book (Let There be Range) for over $1500. wtf?

has anyone read Playing the Player? Worth $45?

Let There Be Range isn't worth $10 today.

Any book by Ed Miller will probably be worth it.

We're talking about theory. You said we need to stop him from being able to profitably bet 100%. I said thats wrong. I don't see the relevance of whether or not he does or doesn't have a checking range.

Through the wonders of the internet you don't have to pay anything for that book

The authors of Let It Be Range are hilariously bad writers. I don't think they had an editor.

If someone is profiting by betting 100% (or ATC, or the worst hand in his range), by definition we are folding too often and he doesn't have a checking range.

no, sometimes villains range is so much stronger you have to fold 100% of all hands to a pot sized bet, doesn't mean either of us is playing incorrectly

Re-read my post. That's an easy mistake that lots of people make but that is incorrect.

The counter example is pretty easy, if he is betting half pot and we are folding <33% to stop him from autoprofiting, it is now never +ev for him to cbet any weak hands at all. I think it's pretty easy to understand that a strategy where his optimal response is to only cbet strong hands is not a good strategy.

This is correct of course, extreme range situations do exist. However I'm even talking about fairly normal situations. In fact you usually want him to have a +ev cbet with any two cards.

the counter example does not negate the fact that we need a defending range and that we need to defend more hands if he is still profiting by betting his entire range.
