Your bet folds out 1 and pays 3 and 4. As for 2, a T might call a small bet, but 300 is quite a big bet (pot is about 410 right?); maybe you get called by AT. This is pretty much one of those hands where they call if you're beaten, fold if they're behind. You are mostly ahead because who has a jack and doesn't raise that flop? and A3 is pretty specific, but there's little value in your bet.

I would play the hand differently in any case. I check the flop and bet the turn if it checks round. I am only looking for one street of value because my hand is so weak. I don't like putting a lot of chips in play at low levels in sngs.

So I've been told I need to share this story, since it is apparently worth posting:
I got the free $75 sign up bonus from party, grinded the raked hands at .10/.25 (with some help)....had $100 left at the end, started 4-tabling at 0.02/0.04, had a $98 down-swing, and then a $90 upswing (over the course of a few months), decided to go back up to .10/.25 for kicks, lost like 2 buy-ins, then played heads up matches at 0.02/0.04, and busted to a guy who went all in on every hand, and sucked out on me every time. ARGH I hate poker.
Anyone wanna transfer me like $5?!?

I don't think those types of free rolls are open to everyone.
I am pretty sure there is some ranking system...and depending on points or how much u play or whatever it is...that's how he can play them. He says they are like once a month (unfortunately just passed this past weekend) and we were blinded down before we got home.

well he actually made $250 from my free party money last yr and transfered it to his own account (he had busted 2 free bonuses already) and from there grinded to 5/10.
I think he should just cash out and buy a BWM or a house....but apparently he can do that "faster" at 10/20.....lol......plus he's getting a new 24 inch monitor shortly with full tilt points, and then after that I get the much talked about "valor bathrobe"!!

I think I am a decent player.....for the most part. But I tilt easily.....and I can be too cautious at times....and too curious other times to fold when I think I'm beat.
I guess the problem is that I've been watching all these damn poker training videos, and watching him play these higher stakes games.....so now I play too tight at the lower limits, where no one really knows what they are doing.
