10 minutes later I get king high straight flush and get paid again.

That's basically what I did with golf.

My buddies and I are playing a par 3 course. (I've swung a club maybe 3 times ever before this.)
I "drive" off the 5th tee, make a hole in 1, put my club back in the bag and dont play again for 10 years.

I played1-2 for the first time in over a year, I think. Bought in for $200, cashed out $823 after 1.5 hours. Most (practically all) from a guy who could not resist betting/raising when it was his turn. Not so much a maniac as a drinking guy who thought he could push people around. Made my money on three hands.

First hand I've got AJdd in the blind. Me and another player end up all in with the bully. Flop a J and runner-runner diamonds for the flush. Easy.

Next hand I've got AKo in the blind. Flop an A. Bully bets three streets and I call him all the way. I show and he shows a 5 for a flopped pair. Lol.

Last hand, I have black kings in middle position. A couple of limps, and I make it 25. Get two callers including bully. Flop is KQ9, two red suits. He leads for 25, other guy agonizes and folds, I raise to 75, he jams his last 200ish. Of course my chips go in and I flip my hand. Turn 9, yay, river Q, whatever. He shows K rag, and it takes him a while to realize I have more than one king in my hand. The other guy says he had AQ.

I thought about it. However, it kind of seemed like he perked up on the river when a third club fell. I don't play a lot of nl (though I have done pretty well), but even against a spew monster I don't like to put all my eggs in a one-pair basket on the river.

i play for pennies on america's card room. i hate the software!!!! and i don't trust the site. that's why i play for pennies. and it's my only option as far as i know. but i have a couple friends who play on there for real money, and they win, and get paid. they have had trouble with bots though. i mean bots playing in the games.

Can't play on Stars anymore. Loved the Friday Night $3 Rebuy tourney. Finished Top 5 a few times on there for 4-figures.
