Sunday Million 13th Anniversary Hourly Update - Hour 2

Won and lost a bunch of small pots. Probably played too many hands this hour given how good the structure is. Made a bad all in call and got lucky, made a good all in call and got unlucky. Hand I played badly below. Thoughts on it welcome.

Sunday Million 13th Anniversary Hourly Update - Hour 3

Started: 77,000
Finished: 42,000

Hasn't been a great hour. I've been trying to tighten up a bit as I noticed I was playing too many hands last hour but the deck hasn't been cooperating. I've been getting a bunch of AK and AQ which I'm losing a little money on. I knocked a guy out when I had Aces on a Q high board and he had Q7.

Also got owned by some guy when I missed a flush draw, bet big and he called me down with bottom pair.

Here's hoping that I survive the next hour...

Sunday Million 13th Anniversary Hourly Update - Hour 4

Good hour. Played tight for most of it and chipped up with kings twice but it was a speculative hand and a flip that got me to the position I'm in now.

Notable Hand:

500/1000/125 and I'm on the button with 6

and about 55,000 in chips.

UTG+3 raises to 2340, I call on the button and so does the BB

BB and UTG+3 both check and I bet 9000 which is a little bigger than pot sized.
BB raises enough to put me all in and I call for my last 43,288.

Spent a bunch of the hour down in the 60-70k range after I lost a 40k pot when A6o<A5o AIPF. Very last hand before the break got me back up towards 100k

No notable hands, just a combination of not picking up many premium hands and the gradually approaching bubble. Was down to about 50k at one point but a couple of blind steals and I'm at 66k. Less than 20 bigs at this point though...

Sunday Million 13th Anniversary Hourly Update - Hour 7

In the money which is nice since I satellited in for $5. Just played snug until the bubble burst. Shoved AA and KK to pick up the blinds and reshoved KK to pick up a raise on top of the blinds and antes.

After the bubble burst I got KK again and got it all in on an 8 high flop vs A8 for 151k. I'm disappointed that a straight was dealt on the board, but obviously it could have been much worse for me if an A was dealt on the turn/river.

busted in ~6100th place for $597 (went up 2 pay jumps) which is nice.

I ended up running KJs into Aces for about 20 BBs

Seems like a punt but I opened on the button and got shoved on from what I had pegged as a loose player. Call it what you will, I'd already run well this tournament by being dealt so many premium hands. I can't complain.
