Played this hand at 5-10 on Friday.
Effective stacks about $1,900.
I have JJ in cutoff. Decent but too loose player opens in Lojack for $35, he has been opening about 30-40% of hands folded to him which is typical, we have played together a lot.
I three bet to $105, the button calls, he is an unremarkable player who isn't great but doesn't usually make big mistakes.
Opener 4-bets to $465, I call after some thought. I figure my hand is strong enough to play post-flop in position against the 4-better and I figure the button can't be too strong. Somewhat surprisingly, the button calls after some thought.
Flop ($1,410) is Q
9
5
, I have the J
.
4-better shoves, its $1,430 for me to call and the button is yet to act and it would be over $2,000 for him to call.
