jfc, lost a 10k pot, an 8k pot and a 6k pot. got it in good post flop each time! lost to a two outer in one of them.

ended stuck only 2700 on the night. should have been up like 20k *sigh*

i 3bet and then triple barreled a pro. i had king high. he was tanking on the river and i was leaning forward. he was watching me for tells. he folded, and i showed the bluff. just a hand or two later, i shoved on the river with the nuts vs a different player. he was tanking and the pro was watchign me for tells. i was leaning back in my seat. classic tell of strength.

i was excited because i was hoping he picked up on the tell. i had a great plan to use this against him.

next night. i open otb with KhTh, and he 3bets me from sb. yes!!! we are very deep. i can deploy my secret weapon. i call.

flop is Qh8c4d
he bets 1/4 pot
i call

turn is 7h
he checks
i bet
he calls

river is 7s
he checks
i bet and lean back BOOM!!!
he tanks and......
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
he calls with AQo

dunno what your history with him is but I think that checking back turn and betting the river is more convincing for a bluff given that he's expecting you to float a 1/4 pot bet a lot

overall that spot just seems like a bad one for deploying your secret weapon given that he's taking a clear bluff-inducing line and your range sucks on that runout

villain is a reg, limps utg, which he's been doing a decent amount. tight YWG bets 50. i 3bet to 200 otb with AJo. villain limp reraises to 6 or 700. other player folds. 1500 stacks. what's my shoving range? haven't seen V get out of line yet, but if you took one look at him, you'd agree with me that he's the sort of dude who can have J5o.

87o or better, ATC if villain is wearing a bathrobe or slippers.

Well, I instafolded so I wasn’t really counting the chips. But I was right that it was 6 or 7 chips. It was only after I folded that I remembered this thread.

Villain in the hand is a WSOP bracelet winner.

One limper, I raise 9 9 to 5X, Villain calls in BB and limper calls.

Flop is 8 8 7, checks to me I bet 2/3's the pot, villain check raises to 3.5 times my bet, limper folds, I call and have a pot size bet behind.

Turn is J , villain shoves, I call. Ok?

Villain has been caught bluffing a number of times the 10 or 12 hours I've been playing with him.

It's not a standard calldown unless maybe you and the limper are both in late position.

I was in late position. Post is a bit of a joke as this was on a cruise ship last week, 2-5 $500 max buy but most people bought in for $200 - $300.

Villain won the 2016 Crazy Eights Championship and really wasn't good imo.

He had 56 offsuit and rivered a 4.

If he's getting out of line he's just going to not have nearly enough value hands.

The information given isn't enough to conclude that he's getting out of line per se. There are plenty of ways to get caught bluffing which aren't remotely as spewy as this line.

True, though I will say we got a little and also I think in general people don't realize they're overbluffing from the blinds as much because they have way more junk hands compared to value.

If he has 54 he had like 100%

99 is definitely a call, you're blocking his entire value range. It'd be an interesting hand if we have AK.

in three hands i had AA KK AA, folded the 4th hand. 5th hand i had AK and turned a boat

stacked a guy who tried to keep 5 $1 chips in his hand. i said "those are mine too"

this was after i bet $1100 when he had $1155 behind, so he'd have to go all in so he'd have to show first

It’s because of plays like this that some casinos have a “last aggressor” showdown rule.
