damn.. 4 losing sessions in a row. i haven't lost 4 in a row since june. i played great tonight too. but i should have folded KK pre. i just couldn't do it. he had AA. lost 2200

another time i had JdTd 550 on the flop Qd9d3c. all in on flop for 1800 more and lost.

and aipf AKs<AQo for 1k

with all that, i only lost 1600 on the night.

Guy to my left mucked the winner in a 180$ pot (allegedly). Don't think I've ever done that in a game.

Big fish on my right, I'm on the button, hj makes it 100 after limps, co calls, I call with (adks7c2d, fold pre I'm sure maybe 3 bet but want to play with fish) sb calls one other call, pot like 540. Floor kk4 rainbow SB leads 75 gold to me I like it 375? SB is decent reg kind of loose aggro but people think he bluffs way more than he does but he can bluff. He thinks a bit and calls. Turn 6d second diamond he checks I check (probably should just be like 550, we still have like 3300 behind). River 5s he bets 1k.

I mucked a winner in a $1,600 pot. It was a half hour after I was one outed, rivered quads beat my top set, in a $2,000 pot. Happy I didn't crash my car into a tree on the drive home that day.

might as well post my graph for the year here, this is 99.9% 10NL zoom on Stars, usually played while half-watching TV, drinking a beer, and praying that there's no noise from the baby monitor

not included:

- About $200 in promos/rakeback (guesstimate)
- Live poker losses of about £50 over 50 or so hours of 1/1 and 1/2

2018 goals:

- keep enjoying poker
- stop drinking so much while playing live

almost no stares this time. no one cheered, so not many people knew we hit the jackpot.

i had AK, flop A56. turn A, and i get stacked by a set of 5s. 3 hands later, i get AK again. flop AAT. he has TT. we get it on 7 turn. and i hit A river for the jackpot.

took almost 2 hours to get paid

how nitty is this?

i organize a poker game, 10 people show up. $100 buyin, i'm giving out chips. i want a nice deep stack game going so i basically buy in for all the chips, and i'm selling them from my stack to the latecomers. we've already played a couple hands. then people are like, how much are you buying in for? i tell them i'm banking. i'll make good on whatever you cash out and eat any slippage myself. they insist i also buy in properly and deposit my money in the till because, among other reasons, it might end up with a +balance and i ought to distribute that evenly to everyone.
