I'm in Colorado. New job starts this week. Last night I was playing 1-3 NL at one of the competitor's rooms. You can match the biggest stack there. Seat 2 had over 1000, so I bought in for 650. After 15 minutes of mostly folding I was dealt QQ on the button. 3 limps to me and I make it 18. 3 callers, including the big stack, who was in the bb.
679 flop with 2 hearts. I don't have a heart. Check to me and I bet 50. bb calls, utg folds, cutoff raises to 150, with another 150 behind.
I re-raise to 300, enough to put him all-in. BB jams! Cutoff does go all-in.
I have about 250 left and am looking at around 5:1 odds to call my remaining stack. One of these players could be on a draw but I'm pretty certain I'm way behind. I call.
Cutoff shows 79 for 2 pair. BB has 66 for bottom set.
PLO is sporadic at best. I'm seeing a fair amount of Big-O rather than standard PLO. Colorado only lifted the restrictions a few months ago so I expect another year or two before no limit players start migrating to pot limit.
I was playing 1-3 NL in Blackhawk, Colorado at Bally's a couple weekends ago and I held QQ. I don't remember exactly how the action went but the flop came down 10s4cQc. I think it was 4 or 5 handed to the flop. Turn was the Qs. River was Js.
At showdown the pot was ~$460. After turning over my quad Q's, guy to my left turns over Ks9s for the K high straight flush. The worst part is, we were playing in the only poker room in Colorado that doesn't have a bad beat jackpot. Had it been across the street at Ameristar, I would have won $132,000. So you could argue I suffered 2 bad beats that day.

5/5/10 on button plol, I'm relatively short, someone opens 40 I call 3667 ds, button makes 160, sb call bb call Or call I call, flop ahjs5h, checks through, turn 8d, checks to me all in ~500, button rejams 2k, everyone folds, we run once river A, 66 scoops.
Some guy paid 10k to play ladies event, apparently controversy over it, not sure about trans women playing event but guess that would be based on legal sex status given the buy in mechanic.

He had KQT9 with nut Hearts and was ahead on the turn but bricked everything.
5-10, I have $2,000. UTG + 2 opens for $35, I'm next to act with AQhh and 3 bet to $105, folds to SB who is loose bad but on a huge heater, who flats, folds to Raiser who 4 bets to $400. I flat which is probably a mistake. Bad player now back shoves, original raiser calls. So it's $1,600 to call and the pot will be $6,000. What to do? I only need 27% equity.
I spend the last evening reactivating my poker accounts. They were just sitting there for a couple years. My SwC account just needed a new software download but damn Bovada and Ignition disable the accounts. Contacting their customer support and then actually fixing things was not the simple task I was expecting.
I've now got all five of my different poker accounts up and running. I'm a bit surprised how busy the Bovada site was. I thought poker was dead?
I liked how my SwC balance got a bankroll boost simply by BTC cruising over the last couple years.
Trying to recover swc now but have no clue what email address is under
You may have signed up back in the day before they required email addresses like I did. If you didn’t convert your account, I think it’s lost, ie they are gonna use that excuse to steal your bitcoin.

Yeah I think akson lost his account because he didn't convert it.
I'm looking at all the Bovada tournaments. How is it that all the guarantees are all just barely met. Never way over or just a little under. Just a smidge over the guarantee EVERYTIME. I'm suspicious.
