No we didn't know. We weren't communicating in wolfchat at the time. I should have suspected given his posts on me, and I also really considered switching to him but for some reason declined to do so.

Doesn't really matter--if you zero post you are either getting modkilled or subbed even if you show up 1 min after eod

I laughed at everyone who said luckbox couldn't be voting a wolf day 1

Okay but surely you see how this is a problem - if birdman hadn't been proactive in getting subs, he would've had to modkill two players on d1.

Like obviously IRTM and CC aren't the only people this applies to (even in this game) but we really should bring back the sub log where if you have a habit of having to be subbed out, you have to kind of earn back your cred by subbing in or something.

For those who do not like subs: Monkey Banana used to run no-subs vanillas. If a villager gets modkilled, wolves can nightkill twice during the next night. If a wolf gets modkilled, the wolves don’t submit a nightkill that night.

If 2 villagers get mod killed do the wolves get 4 NKs

gg wolves.

Sorry for the crappy day 1. Had that flip gone the other way, this game would have been very different, I think, had I followed through on my plan to peek CC.

Afaik discussing comms with mod has always been a no-no. But an updated OP or stocky might not be a bad thing

I think I got warned or mk'd for it years ago so I've always been aware

That no subs vanilla design seems good

I don't mind subs. Obv hate it when there's wolves in the subs but I mean last game i subbed in and thoroughly enjoyed it still.. and good for those players that didn't sign up in time but still want to play

It's 100% on me for not posting, I accept that.
But the mod PM reminders that occasionally come an hour before the EOD are a nice reminder for the rare times I forget / am out of town.

Either way, gg all. Thanks for running, and I'm sorry for not being around on d1 / requiring a sub.

Saw some discussion about my post in dvc. I don’t think my post is bad ultimately but I’m happy to admit I could be biased and also adjust regardless of that since enough people seem to have been turned off by it. My apologies if anyone felt that adjusted equity of either team. I’ll try to avoid that in future.

I believed it would be neigh impossible for bird man to find a sub for me and I was rushing my post as I’d gotten some bad news at work (less bad for me than others, but appreciate the concerns expressed) and was phone posting. I legitimately did feel I’d be a burden to the team if I’d not been lunched because I would have only been able to post about 30 minutes the following day. Perhaps I should have just not posted if I did not have enough time to be more measured.

Again, many thanks to Gad for being there and for bird man allowing me to sub despite that

I also want to apologize sincerely to SIU. I genuinely did not mean to make you feel stupid or imply that I thought you were. I genuinely did hope to convey that we should laugh at how silly we both were for being so confident and so wrong should that end up being the case. I realize my intent did not come off that way though and I am glad we were able to patch it up in game but I also wanted to mention it here. GG dude, I did enjoy playing with you still.

Post Anni 17er the difference is less obvious. I still think he was more towny there though. Some posts:

Strange
DZ actually said the same thing this game, that Monte was acting different. In this game he simply writes it off, didn't really seem to care about him acting different despire noting it. I get more concern from this post quoted. This could be nothing as they're different games but yeah

Someone asked Zeus his read here, so he isn't simply giving reads for no reason. I believe this game people didn't question him much (if at all?) day 1, so that is a factor. But this is still more villagery than his reads this game day 1

IDK, I'm landing role neutral, but, if y'all experienced players think its a town post I'll be happy
A post which pretty obviously shows that he is thinking about solving. Which I didn't see his day 1 here

Your village core seems nice enough
This is one post which makes me hesitate. It's decent similar to his reads list day 1 I quoted before
