All very reasonable

OK, so 1.5 villagers RB-ed this night
I'll concede you your nitpick

+wolves have more information on:
1) the set of strategies available
2)the opponent’s (the village) action;
which allows them to play closer to equilibrium.

so yeah no plan is « good » per se, but what’s important is that it is mostly decided by the village.

Did we get confirmation if the two wolf factions know each other's identities

And I combine it with extra food N1, so that I'm pretty sure we all start day 2 with full belly in case of shenanigans

If we do 5YP and only 2 food and we run into a farmer roleblock and famine (whatever it does, it surely attacks food), me might lose 10 villagers N2 or so

Maybe it is bad because what if someone gets spicy and shoots a farmer.

Would be a disaster.

Surely peeking players are better right?

Seems excessive.

Also I'm willing to yolo on the potential roleblocks. We win faster if they don't get it right?
Of which a certain number are already wolves and fed right? So with 3 we put a whoooole lot of excess food in to feeding us right?

Its only $25, but its money we could use elsewhere.

Ok so probably somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 wolves in this game, right?

And COLLECT+2 food is worse because? looks like 3x food is a waste of resource vs the likelihood of the worse « 2 food » scenario

How many wolves do you reckon there would be? Whats standard?

We dont need to feed the wolves so were realistically only needing to feed 15-25 people right? Not sure how good this logic is

No you're right. I was thinking we come up with a good consensus kill list but wasn't considering what happens if we killed a farmer.

well, there's the type of players that spew ideas, good or bad
and the type of players that say nothing, but just ask questions or even limit themselves to undermine other people ideas

You are not in the first group

my post was about how we cannot judge plans because we don’t know mechanics.

Food is distributed to wolves too iirc, even though they dont need it.

25% wolves, usually

Food is distributed randomly. So 25% goes to wolves and 75% to villagers, on average.
We don't want to underfeed the village when we run 3 relevant NAs

Wolves might have a role that can frustrate a farmer without actually knowing them. Why not?
