Sure. I noticed yesterday an interesting thing about the Ohio teams: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo were all paying $250 per share. Today, Xander picks Cleveland so Cleveland drops to $200 per share. All four cities had 4 shares sold. $1000/4 = $250. Now there are 5 shares sold for Cleveland so $1000/5 = $200.
If someone were to follow Xander's example and pick Cleveland then Cleveland would drop to $167 (1000/6).
That's why it's best to display your picks - it should discourage others from picking the same city because the price just dropped.
NOTE: there are 50 tickets outstanding right now because I guaranteed a $1000 pool. These unsold tickets are placeholders that are replaced as actual tickets are bought. Obviously the placeholder that Xander replaced had no shares in those 4 Ohio cities. That placeholder did have 40 shares however so the payout price on those 40 cities just went up. Always check the odds after tickets are sold to look for bargains!

I see Adam Owen won the HORSE tournament at Run It Up Reno. Is the entire Folkestone UK team planning to stay stateside building up a bankroll for the WSOP?
Also at Run It Up Reno the holdem/omaha combo tournament was won by Sarah Sherman (of the extreme longshot Ashland Oregon team). Also from Oregon (Bend, Oregon), Seth Davies won a recent Bellagio high roller for 105K.

If you're looking for more "running good", we have the results of the Irish Poker Open high roller. It was Max Silver (London UK) winning for 45k euros with Benny Glaser (Southampton UK) in 2nd for 30k euros.

Good news for Xander Biscuits. One of his best players (Dan Smith, team Manalapan) has rekindled his chess career but after his chess tournaments in Iceland he tweets "see y'all in Vegas". Don't think he's going there to play chess.

Running Good: Park Yu Cheung (Team Hong Kong)
Just won the main event at APPT Korea for 174K. Had 11 cashes at 2018 WSOP. One problem: can only play NLH.

Is there a link to the Paypal Money Pool WS2+2OP, as I can not find it through my account?

Paypal says that's the link.
Sorry about that - I'm new to Paypal so I thought you could just access by name.
I'll add this to the info/rules as soon as I get home.

I tried the link.
The problem is that the first screen shows CAD$ but when you go to contribute it just shows "$". Is the contribution Canadian or American? They don't say. That was the problem when I set it up: everything was "$" so I didn't know if it was Canadian or American.
Are they showing the contributors default currency or is that $ sign Canadian? If there is anyone who has a Euro or British Pound account with Paypal, could you go as far as the contribute page and let us know what currency is showing?
You can cancel from there - no need to send any money til I'm back from vacation on May 8th.
First tournament of the World Amateurs (8 game) here in Vienna starts in 2 hours. Wish me luck - I'll need it!

The Paypal Page was looking for the CHIP In to be in Canadian Dollars. The current exchange rate is $ 26.78 CAN - $ 20.00 USD.

Can you change the rate to USD, or would you want to increase the Canadian rate ?

Paypal sure is crap. Their website is riddled with errors.
However, I think I figured out how to convert the money pool to US$. At least now that I go there, is shows the amount as "$" instead of "CAD$".
I've also fixed the CHIP IN amount at $20.
Hopefully, this should now work OK.

Looking for more players with plenty of cash at this year's WSOP? The results are in for the Borgata main event Spring Open.
David Jackson (from Jacksonville naturally) got 1st for 304K.
Shannon Shorr (Birmingham Alabama) finished 2nd for 171K.
Vladimir Alexandrov (despite his name, from Edison NJ) finished 3rd for 110k. Vladimir also had another 3rd at Borgata earlier this year for 216K.

Still showed as $20 Canadian and also had a fee from either Bank ($0.99) or CC ($1.67)

According to PayPal this is impossible, they claim that a Money Pool is always in the same currency as my default currency. My default currency is US$.
I've tried PayPal help before (about fees) but got an idiotic answer. This time I'm trying the "PayPal Community" to see if anyone has an answer there.
Stay tuned and don't send any money via PayPal until we get this fixed.

It looks like nobody at "Paypal Community" knows why the Money Pool is in CAD$ when PayPal says it should be in US$.
So, what I've done is delete the pool and then create it again.
Is it now in US$? Don't know as it shows plain "$" as before.
Can someone try this and let me know what currency the pool is in?

But do not send any money. Just click on contribute, check the currency and cancel. We want to make sure this thing is working correctly before anyone uses it.

Oh, good. Thanks eleanor60.

However, still no rush to send payments. I'm still in Vienna playing poker. My programs that do the odds calculation and the quickpicks are back on my desktop computer in Vancouver. Should be up and running again on May 8th. Still lots of time before the WSOP.

I see that Dylan Linde (Coeur D'Alene Idaho) has a book coming out on June 4th: "Mastering Mixed Games". His best advert for the book would be to play well in those games this summer.

Sergio Aido was originally from Spain but I see he's listed under Team London. He's 1.7M richer today as he won the 100K high roller in Monte Carlo. That means he'll have plenty of cash to splash around at this year's WSOP. Good news for team London.

I'll be at Monte Carlo Bay Casino tomorrow playing the HORSE event. Drop by and enter in person if interested. 18 euros will get you in the pool - your picks can be submitted later.

One of the fun things about this year's fantasy pool is that we get to cheer on everyone and not just the big names. As an example, take Todd Barlow. Nope, I've never heard of him but his stats shows that he has a shot - some WSOP mixed game cashes on his resume. He's on Team Scottsdale. Xander biscuits has two shares of Scottsdale. I'm sure he'll be hoping for big things from Todd.

And then there's the anti-sweat. If nobody picked the player that wins the Main Event last longer then the PPC last longer will be the winner. That's why I picked towns/cities with lots of mixed game players on my list. Then, if someone like Alex Foxen (Cold Spring Harbor (not picked by anyone yet)) wins the ME last longer, I've got a shot!

Attempted to Chip in my $20, but it still wanted to add a fee from wither my Bank, or the CC option. I will await further instruction.
