Teams To Consider: LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA
Unlike some of the other "near Vegas" cities, Los Angeles does have some real talent including this guy who cashed 15 times last year. So, hold your nose and add L.A. to your wish list?

Teams To Consider: MADISON WISCONSIN
This 9 player team had 2 who cashed in the main event. In addition, they have this old timer who may still have enough of what it takes to have another good year. At least we know he'll give it a good try.

Teams To Consider: COEUR D'ALENE IDAHO
The bad news: only 2 players on this team. The good news: their names are Dylan Linde and Kevin McPhee.

Teams To Consider: COOPER CITY FLORIDA
Good news: you get one of the Mizrachi brothers. Bad news: it's Eric. The only reason to pick Cooper City is Steven Wolansky. 14 cashes for 357K last year. And he can play all the games. I see he's originally from Cleveland so he'll be playing for Team Cleveland next year. Here's your last chance to get him as a member of Team Cooper City.

Teams To Consider: MIAMI FLORIDA
A lot of players and a lot of talent. For most people, the main reason to pick Miami will be to get 3 time PPC champion: Michael Mizrachi.

Team News: SOUTHAMPTON UK
A see on Twitter that Benny Glaser has asked Daniel Negreanu when the 25K WSOP Fantasy Draft will be. That's a good sign that Benny will be playing the full series.
And Benny was also in this measly $20 pool last year as well. Hope he's back again this year.

Team To Consider: FORT MYERS FLORIDA
Some teams can claim that their top player is a woman. How many can boast of the top 2 being women? Fort Myers can. Yvonne McQuillan turned 12K in buyins into 31K (2 cashes) and Katherine Fleck turned 14K of buyins into 67K (4 cashes). Just don't expect much help from the six men on the team.

Teams To Consider: STATEN ISLAND NEW YORK
William Corvino has 5 cashes on this 15 player team. Only one other player has more than 2: Loni Harwood with 10. Look for a big price on this one.

Teams To Consider: BOCA RATON FLORIDA
A 21 player squad headlined by the fabulous Zamani brothers. Martin and Benjamin combined for 20 cashes and they both cashed in the Main Event.

Teams To Consider: SAINT PETERSBURG RUSSIA
Mike Gorodinsky leads 10 serious players from his hometown of Saint Petersburg. He had an off year in 2018 with just 2 cashes but is definitely capable of much better.

Teams To Consider: DUBLIN IRELAND
15 player squad including the father/son duo of Donnacha/Eoghan O'Dea. Marc MacDonnell was top casher with 5. Don't be confused by his WSOP.com results page: they have Marc MacDonnell and Marc Macdonnell as two different people.

Teams NOT to Consider: DUBLIN CALIFORNIA
Sure, they have a bracelet winner who cashed for 662K last year (Matthew Davis) but his previous cash was in 2009. Sure, they have a 6 time casher (Alan Bittikofer) but those were all low buyin holdem tournaments.

Teams to Consider: PHOENIX ARIZONA
Phoenix is much like Los Angeles, a "near Vegas" city with a lot of recreational players but some solid talent as well. One player with 7 cashes last year, one with 6 and 3 with 5. Top player in the $ categories is Christopher Vitch.

BTW, the pool is open! So far, we've sold just 2 entries at my homegame (and commitments to buy 3 more). There is an advantage to wait for "pickyerown" entries but there is an advantage to buy your "quickpick" entries right now. Your picks will cause the $ payout on your cities to drop, thus scaring off the "pickyerowns" which will cause your payout $ to rise back up again. That's parimutuel!

Teams To Consider: CERRITOS CALIFORNIA
You get 2 time main event champ Johnny Chan! And the other 5 players from Cerritos combined for 11 more cashes. However, the last time Johnny Chan cashed in anything outside of the main event was 2011. In fact, Johnny's hometown was Guangzhou but since I didn't consider him a threat, I left him in Cerritos. Any pick of Cerritos would probably be for the 5 cashes of Saya Ono.

Teams to NOT Consider: LONGWORTH TEXAS
Doyle Brunson is the entire team from Longwoth Texas. Doyle Brunson has said he probably would not play in the WSOP again (and definitely not the Main Event). Don't even pick this one if they give you a million to 1.

Teams NOT to Consider: SEVEN HILLS OHIO
I kind of ignored my quickpick until I posted it here. Thought I should check on some of the teams I got. Seven Hills looks interesting. I have Kenneth Po who cashed in 5 last year. The good news: none were NLH! The bad news: all were $1500 entry tournaments or lower. There is hope here but it's faint. And I can assume no "pickyerowns" will pick Seven Hills because it'll wreck the odds. Let's Go Kenneth PO!!!

Teams To Consider: RACINE WISCONSIN
Another one horse town. Brandon Shack-Harris cashes all over but never in the Main Event. I think we can ignore his teammate Jason Farkas. For a big price only.

Teams To NOT Consider: FEDERAL WAY WASHINGTON
Another team I got in my quickpicks. Another one horse town. The one horse in question here is Kate Hoang. Cashed 3 times last year: 2 Omahas and a HORSE. Nothing over $1500 buyin but she had an 8th in a 10K in 2017. Like Kenneth Po, there is hope but it's faint. That's what makes these quickpicks fascinating: why else would I be shouting "Go Kenneth & Kate!" this summer.

Teams to Consider: MANALAPAN NEW JERSEY
Another team from my quickpick. Yeah, I got "Cowboy" Dan Smith. Does he even bother with those lowly 10Ks any more? 4 others from Manalapan did cash in 10Ks last year.

Teams to NOT Consider: TARZANA CALIFORNIA
I see that the "Homegame" quickpick was given 2 shares in Tarzana. Wonder why? Turns out Tarzana is the hometown of Michael Noori who cashed 9 times last year. However, he has never cashed in the Main Event. The reason to not consider Tarzana isn't because of Michael Noori, it's because there are already 2 shares out there. With a 3rd share, the price would probably be too low to make it worthwhile.

Teams To Consider: SAN CLEMENTE CALIFORNIA
Another team that showed up on the "Homegame" quickpick. San Cemente had 2 players cash in the Main Event last year. One was Tyler Cornell but the main threat was Taylor Paur. Before the Main Event he had finished 4th in The Marathon. Probably OK for 1 share. Is 2 one too many?
