only people on the boat vote for a mutiny (occurs when leak happens on boat with no empty seats)...but if a tie and no 'captain' play, then the first person to go that round gets to break tie, regardless of them being in boat or not


so, being first person to go in a round is a strong position to be in; u break ties during phase 1/2

it's not that complex; just a lot to look at all at once

after one round, it'll all make sense

just take it one step at a time; this setup phase u wanna get ur men on boats using some sort of strategy

some things to consider (i guess; i've never played so not sure):

point value if scores
has shark or not
number of survivors already in boat (if full boat, then leak kills someone; but if pretty empty boat, more leaks than players = capsizing and kills all in boat)
how many different players have a piece on a boat (only 1-2 can set up voting blocks against u, but also only 1-2 means likely leak target when everyone votes...)

there is more i'm sure; don't worry about it now; wing it and let's get on with the game; u'll learn strategy on the fly and know better in the future how to better set up your men; it's like risk, after playing for awhile u learn what strategy u like (n/s america, australia, africa, etc) and then u setup ur players to play to that strategy...

also, each boat is 6 seats, so boats 1/2 are almost full
