i'm considering letting each person have a theme for their players, but i'm not sure due to fitting it all on the map in an easily viewable way, so i may just use letters or colors instead

Hmm, still haven't thought about the strategy yet really.. so here goes:

yes, u can put all ur players on one boat, but then we will all vote to give u a leak and u'll lose a man (if boat is full when leaks, then one man on boat is killed)

boats 1/2 go to an island worth 8 for S and 6 for P
boats 3/4/5 go to an island worth 7 for S and 5 for P
boats 6/7 go to an island worth 6 for S and 4 for P

well, none of us have played this, so we are winging strategy, but all we are doing is placing our 6 guys on boats...certain boats are worth more than others (1/2 for example) and some take more moves to score due to sharks...

other considerations are voting blocks...if u and another player make up the majority of votes in a boat, then u can create a voting block to throw other players off the boat...but remember if there are more leaks than players in a boat, a man dies...so other teams may vote your boat to get leaks until u die, so u don't wanna put all ur players in one or two boats...
