If the weekend were Friday 8 p.m. to Sunday 8 p.m., 2 answers makes sense. Going to Monday loses a day of guesses. Further, I would be most comfortable with having to space your answers, somewhat. Otherwise, someone is going to come to the thread to find the other 20 players have already selected the 40 or 60 choicest answers.

The rules for the weekend are pretty clear in the OP with respect to picking twice anytime after 8PM server on Friday (today) and that covers you right up to Monday at 7:59PM server. IMO, if you want to change the rules, you have to assume that everyone is reading all the posts ITT, and not just the updated lists of people picked.

The rule was clear. Why not just stick with it?

Just my opinion, but I just want to look at lists and try to pick people not picked...don't want to look through the thread for rule changes..

I set it up this way because it gets to be kind of a procedural quagmire during the period I'm only on my phone so I wanted to alleviate that.

Yeah, I mean the only proposed difference would be submitting 3 during that time period instead of 2, & if other people were picking 3, I think even the non-readers would at least think to ask why.

But it's probably fine the way it is.

3 is better for me, personally, but 2 is more fair to the group. We're doing a bang-up job of knocking out the list from the top down and if someone is the 15th person to the thread there's a good chance that 40 of the top remaining answers will be taken already.

On a side note, I fail to understand why weekends are a problem for people. It takes less than a minute to log on and post 2 or 3 names. Are people really that busy on Saturdays?

Fair enough. I get that the mod is going to spend a lot more time on this than any of the players. I'm okay with whatever you decide.

My vote is still for 2 answers over the weekend for the best interests of the game.

I think 2 is fine. If people are that bored because they don't get to submit 3 famous people over the weekend, they are always welcome to start up other games
