True North is the main man here, and he is propped up by secondary judges insanity, pokercrazy and chucktheslovak.

1. Washington Generals

2. Cleveland Browns
3. Buffalo Bills
4. Montreal Expos
5. Detroit Lions

Maybe I'm biased since I pay the most attention to the NFL than the other sports, but the incompetence of the Browns, Bills and Lions is staggering. Bills at least had a few good years in the 90s but could never get the job done. Lions at least have had a few decent years with Stafford. Expos/Nationals have been staggeringly bad. Nationals have been decent recently, but still can't get a playoff win.

6. Timberwolves
7. Kings
8. Clippers

I admit these are close

9. Indians
10. Maple Leafs

I get what you were going with here, but I just don't agree. They were quite dominant back in the day and probably unlucky to win one.

9th: Buffalo Bills (bolt2112)

lolhackey. Shoulda picked a real sport, sir.

8th: Toronto Maple Leafs (eyebooger)

Pretty hard to differentiate between the next two. Both obviously bad franchises, but their locations/fanbases make me barely care about their existence.

7th: Minnesota Timberwolves (DonkDonkDonkDonk)

6th: Sacramento Kings (eleanor60)

They've been doing a pretty good job lately, but being from [redacted] made me bump them up over the two NBA teams.

5th: Cleveland Indians (CrimsonFox)

A real horror show of a franchise no matter where they've located themselves in North America.

4th: Montreal Expos (Nicholasp27)

Complete scumbag former owner just ran them into the ground, purposefully making them not competitive in a city where they absolutely should have been.

3rd: LA Clippers (xander biscuits)

A clear top two here, especially seeing as they're NFL teams. One seems like they have a bit of hope after drafting BAKER and the other has a walking heart attack, Matt Patricia, as their head coach. Smh. So hard to choose.*

2nd: Detroit Lions (Priptonite)

1st: Cleveland Browns (Carl_Spackler)

i really didn't have a clue what to pick here and didn't really care. I was going to pick the bills then i forgot and realized i should have picked them one pick earlier...and then they got sniped.
They are all losers who cares

PokerCrazy94 with an alternative view:

1) Buffalo Bills - Only recently gotten into NFL in the last couple months (through matched betting lol) and I love it now but even back when I knew hardly anything about the sport I knew Buffalo Bills were pretty **** so they have the pleasure to be #1 here

2) Cleveland Browns - Again same as Bills, but they seem to be a bit better recently at least?

3) Toronto Maple Leafs - Does seem pretty shocking that a Canadian team can't ****ing win at their own sport lol so worthy top 3 imo.

4) Detroit Lions - No idea if they were worse than Bills or Browns in the past but they've won me more money than those 2 so there you go that was the deciding factor

5) Sacramento Kings - Always liked the NBA but never really kept track of things until the play offs come around but Kings never seem to be there? Must be really ****. Go Warriors!

6) Washington Generals - Needed google for this one since I didn't have a clue. They seem like they were pretty bad vs the Globetrotters but not really a proper professional team are they? I'm sure they wouldn't have lost vs the Kings anyway (maybe, I don't know )

7) Minnesota Timberwolves - Meh, middle of the road average team in the middle of the pack seems right. Don't know much about them tbh.

8) LA Clippers - They seem to be pretty average nowadays? Might not win anything but I kind of like them to be honest lol watch them go on to win the NBA Finals this year, heard it here first

9) Cleveland Indians - They seem to be pretty decent now? Well since I got into baseball anyway. I kind of like them as well, go Indians!

10) Montreal Expos - Putting them last mainly because I feel sorry for Eric and 1994, player strike ending the season what can you do? Unlucky

JM3 weighs in:

RankWorst Pro Sports FranchiseDrafterNote
1Montreal Expos (9)Nicholasp271969 to 2004 in Montreal - no World Series appearances, 1 trip to the playoffs, & that was in a weird strike season 1981, & then the 1994 debacle. Solid choice. Have done a bit better in Washington, but still nothing exciting.
2Sacramento Kings (7)eleanor60Been around since 1923 when they were the Rochester Seagrams. In the 95 years since, they have won 1 championship (1951). They have been a bastion of ineptness for years & years. This year they are playing competently, though. Very confusing.
3Detroit Lions (1)PriptoniteHave been around since 1930s. 4 championships, but none since 1957. Have not been embarrassing lately, putting together a playoff appearance every few seasons, but still a solid choice.
4Toronto Maple Leafs (6)eyebooger13 championships from 1917 to 1967 is pretty good. 0 since is pretty bad. Haven't won a playoff series since 2004. Currently 28-14 tho.
5Cleveland Browns (1)Carl_SpacklerThe Browns are the ldo obvious choice for the category due to their lol reputation, buuuuut they won an awful lot in the early days (8 championships between 1949 & 1964). Yeah, they've been embarassing for a while, but I think those still count, even though they aren't Super Bowl titles. Otto Graham was awesome.
6LA Clippers (8)xander biscuitsThe Clippers were a laughingstock for years & years until the CP3/Blake Griffin era which led to…some trips to the 2nd round of the playoffs! Decent this year. Been around since 1970, never even been to a finals.
7Cleveland Indians (8)CrimsonFoxThe Indians are another punchline team. Their most beloved player is Wesley Snipes. They've been around since 1894, & have 2 championships in all that time…the most recent in 1948. The only downside is they have been rather competent lately, including 10 division championships in the past 20 years.
8Buffalo Bills (7)bolt2112They've been around since 1960, & won 2 titles, but none since 1965. They have been to Super Bowls 4 times…going back to back to back to back from '90-'93, and losing all 4, including 1 in painful fashion & 3 blowouts. I think that run of losing Super Bowls actually reflects well on them as a franchise, though. The NFC was a much better conference back then, & getting a bunch of players to want to come to Buffalo & be good enough to get whooped in the Super Bowl is not a bad thing. Only 1 playoff appearance this millenium, though (2017).
9Washington Generals (4)filthyverminSeem to have a long & successful run as an organization…despite a 3-16,000 record or whatever it is agains the Globetrotters. Beat the Taiwanese national team? Woop? The problem is, they've done what they were supposed to do, so how bad of a franchise can it be?
10Minnesota Timberwolves (7)DonkDonkDonkDonkThey've only been around since 1989, so even though they've mostly sucked, I can't get that excited about 30 years of mostly sucking.
