Was hoping ghost went for tarot and then shaman for witch aztec. I wanted to go 5 on tarot but was worried telescope may have gone.

I would have used the +1 for telescope after the calendar words anyway. I just felt most confident in scope, lol. No worries; we were behind the eight ball, anyway.

was trying for one of {play, check}

either "gunplay" like i've heard in movie/TV reviews for thriller type shows, or what you do with a toy gun, cap gun, those kinds of things

+ safety/security check type senses

telescope just didn't register for me when i was looking at the list. at least none of the red words seemed like blockers

then you pretty much found all the calendar words: check, date, square. my thought was they'd slowed down just enough that we'd get another turn, so i could go clean up play/shop later. was also considering "election" here but idk if check/square are strongly associated enough there

no preference on spying/guessing game 3

Happy with either Killer. I was close to telescope myself on both our clues so I got lucky! Thought it was ours but also thought they may guess it for us.
