4% chance both are chameleons and it ends

How on earth am I in third place

Updated balancing news:

Chameleons are scoring 11.43 points per game.
Villagers are scoring 9.46 points per game.

I am guessing we will have three or four more games. But, I think 5 of the last 6 chameleons were 1st time chameleons. We got from 7 nons to 2 nons in two games. I think.

If my math is correct there was a 4.8% chance in game 6 that all three chameleons would be first time chameleons, and it happened.

In game 7 there were 2 non-chameleons in each of 2 games and none in the 3rd game. So, there could only be 2 first-time chameleons. There was a 16% chance of that happening, and it did.

So, in games 6 and 7 there were 5 possible first-time chameleon opportunities and all 5 hit.

Why is d1iab so good at everything

If I am ever on one of those trivia games where you can "phone a friend," I think I would go D1iab, TN, and EB....lol....

It looks like villagers can use a nigh-unbeatable strategy. Each villager chooses a random clue, unrelated to the secret word. Then, in the discussions that follow, they drop more complex, hidden clues to show each other that they know the word. It will be very difficult for the chameleon to see what's going without knowing the word. It's probably even easier if they can research very unusual "clues", that the other villagers can google to see the connection to the secret word.

This idea leads to an idea for a new version of the game (well two if you disallow research as one of them): dispense with the clue round, and go straight to the discussion phase. Maybe then it becomes too werewolfy, though.

I'm pretty bad at peehs. In fact, I'd say I'm straight up awful at it.

And I think Chameleon has a certain amount of luck involved. Given different sets of games, I think the results so far would be vastly different.

You definitely wanna go with TN or eb there, especially if it's geography or sports related. The only category where I think I might have a slight advantage over them would be movies.

You have an advantage over me in movies that is bigger than "slight" imo.

Possibly. But any advantage I have there is still < the advantage you have over me in other categories imo.

Y'all should come on a cruise with my fam this summer.

Last time I took a cruise I won 9 trophies, 2 medals & a bottle of champagne playing trivia. Would be fun to have an actual challenge.
