yeah. my idea was to go for a neutral take on religion. I didn't not want to paint him like Galileo as having trouble with the church. I just wanted to portray him as not "of" the church. Academically, secular is usually seen as neutral.

But, it could lead to people thinking secularism, so I should have been more careful, I guess..
