Probably any clue that uses something discreet should be illegal?
Not sure if that would be too vague.

a junior engineering major at a very reputable, but not elite university

I assume "junior engineering major" is pushing us to the green section of that spectrum. No experience to be wise.

Engineering majors are generally intelligent and the school is reputable, so the number should be reasonably high. But not it's not elite, which would rule out anything 25+.

Something in the 19 to 22 range?

I'm thinking in the 17 - 22 range.

At least they're not a Freshman? Are engineering majors less wise than other types of majors? It's a weird spectrum.

It really is a bizarre spectrum.

In this case, I'm interpreting "wise" as "experienced" because not much else makes sense.

21ish

Weird category. If "wise" is experience it seems like people could easily have both qualities. This one should have an x and y axis instead of a line.

Someone in a good engineering program is going to be quite a bit smarter than average, probably top 10% or better usually.

Not sure if a 14 is an average person or total simpleton or what.

I like higher all things considered.

I still like 19, so lower for me

But I won't mind too much if I get outvoted, it's a difficult one

Lower

It was 19. We needed a perfect to win so I don't think you guys technically had to guess lol.

That spectrum is ****ing hard. Figured top of intelligence is Einstein/Hawking, elite engineer is in the 22ish range, reputable is 19ish lol.

I liked junior as more wise than freshman so moves it over a little lower than they had it

Wise is experience and intelligence is raw smarts

So smart as engineer at a reputable school but more wise than babies, kids, teens, freshmen, sophomore so getting into the 19-20ish range there

I think you guys were using it the other way and thinking junior would be more intelligent than freshman, but that’s not true; their iq would be similar but the juniors would have just learned more and experienced more and be a little wiser...intelligence was set by the engineer major and then wisdom by age/experience

A just graduated engineer would be a little more wise and a senior engineer with 5 years work experience would be even wiser
