I am terrible at Sudoku, but my mother was a near savant at them. My dad and I used to stare while she whizzed through them in less time then I would spend on a Minesweeper.

Yeah, fennel fronds. They told me to add them to the soup, but I would probably not garnish with them again. Just float a little of the cream on top.

stuff is stressful to me because i have anxiety issues

like sometimes i get really stressed out about leaving the house, crossing the street, talking to people, turning on the AC, doing the laundry, etc lol

if you want more detail about the stress of activating my phone... it's like "i'm a failure! i'm never gonna be able to live a normal life. i can't understand these instructions. this is so easy for everyone else. why can't i do it? i suck. am i misreading the webpage? did it tell me i registered my sim card? it didn't tell me! im supposed to wait 30 minutes, but idk if i registered it. do i have to call support? omg! im not gonna make it!"

my community in sf was unhealthy for me. but it was a still a community. and living without a community in LA has made my general anxiety worse

I still check in daily but don't find too much of a reason to post.

I've got 5 minutes here and there throughout the days and I'll check on mobile. I've got a pretty busy life with wife, kids, work etc. When running games I'd reveal them usually when I should have been sleeping. I'd barely survive on minimal sleep and it made everything else a little bit tougher than it should have.

Stuff's going much better now irl. I get enough sleep and am being a pretty good husband, father and worker.

I occasionally get the itch to play/run games but I either can't do it easily from mobile or don't quite find enough time during the day to do it.

Sheep entries would just be making up the numbers with time I'd give them. Wouldn't have the time to do draft write ups and would annoy everyone by being afk for too long for codenames etc.

But like I said I still check most days but it's mostly just the cricket thread and this one.

Yeah, it's kind-of my type of show. But with my giant backlog, I'm just going to see if it's renewed for a 2nd season and catch up then.

I'm currently watching Squid game along with the rest of the world. Watching one episode a night. Watching episode 7 tonight.

It is so good. The last two episodes have some big twists and surprises.

Squid Game has gotta be the most overrated show of the year.

I have only seen a couple of commercials promoting it during football games so I really don't know much of anything about the premise, but my reaction was that it could be a good watch ... but it would require way too much suspension of reality to actually be enjoyable. Like you'd sit there and be yelling at the TV because we have the technology to get to the bottom of this.
