So I'm going back out with a girl I went out with months ago. she got a new job so hasn't had time to ever do anything again since, but now has her routine down better. I sort of gave up pursuing anything and then she randomly send me a message on facebook basically demanding that we hang out and telling me how she hasn't had as much fun going out with anybody as she did when we went out. I will be missing the breaking bad finale to hang out with her.

She will actually be missing it herself as she is an avid watcher as well. There is one hipster bar downtown that plays the episodes but we ended the night there last time and she felt strange about the place.

I'm thinking maybe go for some lily of the valley martinis after dinner.

So I left my computer unplugged and all usb devices removed last night, hoping it would kickstart the BIOS in some way. It appears that Windows is somehow hijacking the keyboard, as it works fine outside of windows (comp start menu, bios, etc).

There has to be something inside of windows that I am missing.

Im going to try an XP install through VMWare and see if that recognizes the keyboard. I really don't want to have to do a full new Windows install, but its looking like I have little choice at this point
