I am all over the place. Irritable from caloric restriction. Frustrated with my inability to prioritize and focus. Mental garbage. I wrote a terrible poem this morning which contained the following lines:

I specifically made no statement whatsoever about any causative factor. I only said physical activity has been correlated with lower rates of all types of dementia, including alzheimer's. That is only epidemiological correlation, such studies can never determine causation (though these studies are ALWAYS portrayed in the press as if they do).

If you could demonstrate that lack of brain stimulation causes the amyloid thing and the protein deposits, you could get yourself a nice sinecure or tenure or something.
