i posted this last night in the tv forum twin peaks thread. no one responded. they probably think i'm just trolling

the only good thing about the show so far is the waterfall, and the opening credits. but they're over 2 minutes long. aint nobody got time to watch 2 minutes of opening credits.

You are referring to the new Twin Peaks show, not the original?

I think you are right on. I've never tried to watch it, but what I have happened to see was not worth watching. I gather the original was "quirky", and probably entertaining. I suspect the new one is trying to resurrect the "quirky", but just got "crappy".

my guess is that it aged badly? i mean idk, i'm just really confused why so many people like it. granted, i've only seen 20 minutes. but man, it was ridiculous.

I was going to just sit here and silently judge you, but no, instead I'm going to LOL at you for wasting 20 minutes of your life trying to get something out of Twin Peaks. And then spending more time posting about it.
