Hey Mark, I'm feel like I'm getting blasted in the ass by AT&T only giving me 6GB for $15/mo per line. If I go over, they charge another $15/line for an extra gig. Tell me what carrier I need to switch to for good data at a reasonable price.

What's your total bill including taxes/fees per month?

I just put my wife on one of Red Pockets plans. I signed her up for their $60/year ebay plan. There are a couple RP ebay options. There are also Red Pocket Amazon plans (slightly different).

Red Pocket works on any of the four national networks. (You pick one)

Another is mintsim.com they operate on T-mobile.

One nice thing about T-mobile is that it has Binge On with free video streaming to many services including youtube.

Total Wireless: 2 devices, 15GB / mo, $60, uses verizon. You can buy an extra 5GB for $10 and it doesn't expire. This is prepaid so the $60 is total, and you have to pay for your phone.

To be clear you could be paying $60 total, go from 6GB to 15GB, go from att to verizon. I believe recent iphones just work on all networks.

Just for full disclosure on Chips and my plans, you are on a data plan that is put on the lowest priority of the given data network. If you are on a congested node, you will get very spotty to no performance.

This is rarely an issue. And I've only seen it at stadiums or Disneyland.

IBD, t-mobile has 2 for 80 with everything unlimited i believe. no speed cap up to like 25gigs a month or something absurd

It seems people put a lot of value on unlimited talk. I probably average less than 20 minutes a month. Who talks on the phone? Unlimited texts are also pretty worthless. Who still uses SMS? I'm a hangouts/google voice guy. Data, on the other hand is king. More the better.
