When your song has such bad lyrics, is it not -EV to do a music video focussing JUST on the lyrics?

Odds on her being able to explain what a magnetic field actually is?

taylor is pretty smart. i'd say she has a much higher chance than the avg person to explain a magnetic field.

and there is no way that is her music video for the song. it just got released hours ago. she'll make a multi million dollar production for the video

avg person is still pretty stupid.

cant wait for the full video involving multiple people dancing stupidly and her leaning out of an old convertible car waving her hands in the air like an air dancer.

edit: youtube is great:

I quite like the song, bar the ping!, although the conventional acoustic version is going to be much better. I think the lyrics are classic swiftie.

I’m not sure I know. A perceptual fiction caused by relativistic effects of the quantum electrodynamic field?

I see a diagram in my head of a coil rotating and the little arrows showing magnetic forces but I haven't the slightest idea what a magnetic field actually is.

I believe it is where the Cal Tech football team plays their home games.

Caltech doesn't have a football team.

I have been listening to the love songs of
Form longing for formless.

What are these energies
Undulating through our bodies,
Pulsing us into action?

And this "matter" out of which forms are made—
What are these dancing particles
Of condensed radiance?

Put that to an upbeat folk/pop melody, and Taytay could be back on the money.

That Taylor Swift song is pretty bad.

It's better than Bodak Yellow, so at least it's got that going for it.
10-20-2017 , 08:06 PM
I don’t know what Bodak Yellow is, but if it’s twice as good as it sounds, it sounds absolutely terrible.
10-20-2017 , 08:24 PM
Holy ****, that's bad.

I just watched this last week's episode of "The Good Place". Now that is excellent comedy!
So so funny. A+

I hate that show, cloying and politardy.

Rick and Morty ftw!

i like Mindhunters. it's by the guy who directed fight club. it's a netflix show. some great acting and characters. it's about when the fbi first started interviewing serial killers in 1977
10-23-2017 , 10:50 PM
I was totally expecting to love Mindhunter, but I did have a few problems with it.

All the serial killer interview scenes were great (especially the ones with Kemper), but a lot of the show felt kind of dull. Plus the dialogue felt pretty forced and unrealistic in parts, and almost all the scenes between Ford and Debbie were borderline unwatchable.

Also, Tench is really the only likeable main character and I think the guy playing Ford is horribly miscast. There is enough good stuff in there to keep me watching though, but I expected better given Fincher's track record. The show needs better writers imo.
10-23-2017 , 11:32 PM
mostly agree with diab. first couple episodes were way better than the rest of the series. i think fincher maybe directed only the first couple episodes?

i think the only great serial killer scenes were the ones with kemper. but i havent' finished the series. the other serial killers i've seen were just good to meh. kemper was great though.

why do you say ford is miscast? i think he's pretty good. the character is kinda meh, but i think you need a straight man for a show like this.

but yeah, the **** with him and his gf is a total waste of time. i suggest anyone watching just skip over those scenes.
10-23-2017 , 11:41 PM
I just think he's not a very good actor. Found him really wooden, distractingly so. Plus the guy is just so obviously gay that it was hard to take any of the relationship stuff seriously.
