Don't let crossnerd tip-shame you filthy!

Spoiler:
When I got my plebian bed delivered I tipped $20/each, so yeah, she's right tho.

your math is off by an order of magnitude there mensa

the bed company hires the deliver company, so i doubt they knew how much it costs. i guess they could look it up on the website.

i feel bad though

i googled it and the first result said don't tip at all! i figured $10 for 20 minutes is $30 an hour on top of whatever their salary is

i can't sleep. my mind is racing a mile a minute. my mental health is not the best these days im ok though. but it's not fun. it also effects my poker. i been on the worst downswing i've been on a long time. that cost me a lot more than this bed

over the last ~10 weeks my income is about 0 an hour. over the last 5 weeks it's a big negative number.

but a couple sessions ago i played ~8 hours and made ~$100. the session before that i played ~5 hours and made ~$75

it made me think how ridiculous it is to make like $12 an hour or less. just so painful. and such a waste of life! it's so awful.

Two things -

1. I have never tipped a furniture/appliance delivery person. That's really a thing? Wtf?

2. My wife and I are thinking of a trip to Kelowna at the end of February. Does anyone have recommendation regarding winery/cidery tours, or any other touristy thing?

Filthy,
We just bought a $3k bedroom set with 5 pieces - 3 dressers and 2 side tables. $10 to each guy was what I gave. They were around for about 20 minutes, too. I don't think you should feel bad.

they did seem pretty happy with the tip fwiw

We tipped the removals guys who moved our household possessions. Quite a bit, iirc, plus some beers.

The last appliance we had delivered, I didn't tip but sent the retailer a message saying how awesome they had been.

i do spend about 120 hours a week in my bed. so if the bed last me ten years, that's 16 cents an hour

If it makes you feel any better, you can probably get $500 for it now.

This is a good point. If you have buyer’s remorse it should be over the Smart car, not the bed.

For 10k, I'd want something a bit more stylish. I guess the comfort is the thing.

Comfort is the only thing. I'd buy a bed that looked like Rosie O'Donnell's wardrobe if I got great sleep. Besides, I'm sure it looks like any other bed after you put the $300 sheets and $900 blanket on it.

Oh hey i forgot its november

Great, now you're gonna be super anal about the bed and not let smoke around it or sit on it with my shoes and all that bull****
