My delivery has been moved up to the 12th. Thank you. And thank you Maria for the apology.

McRoskey came highly recommended by several family members and friends, and after investing a large amount of money on my bed, I have not received the customer service I expected. The situation is very disappointing. I'm sleeping on the floor for the next 3 nights. I believe a complimentary Merilin blanket would be appropriate consideration for the inconvenience.

I appreciate your time and am looking forward to finally being able to sleep in my bed.

Thank you

Santiago
the merilin blanket is 315. the lamb's wool is 310. the camel hair is 695.
11-09-2018 , 06:10 PM
what do you guys think? good?
11-09-2018 , 06:13 PM
maybe ask for the camel hair? pre tax total was 8560, plus 295 for delivery. so 695 camel hair is still less than 10%
11-09-2018 , 06:16 PM
Do you want to sleep on a camel hair blanket? If so, no harm in asking.
11-09-2018 , 06:18 PM
i never knew there was such a thing as a camel hair blanket! but it's the most expensive so it's gotta be baller

Well yes, except i buy the 100m obviously. I'll use it eventually.

The only time it really hurts is medicines, when it probably won't keep for the 25 years it would take to use the whole thing up.
11-09-2018 , 06:18 PM
ask for the more expensive one. It's no where near that expensive for them because the mark up is so high

special prescription stuff or over the counter stuff?

If the latter then just find another farmer who bought in bulk and will sell you a little bit of the stuff at a reasonable price.

If the former then just buy more sheep to help use up the medicine

alright i sent it. i asked for the merilin. i'm not sure if you can wash camel hair.

thanks a lot guys!

and partnering up with other farmers for a little purchasing union is a great idea.

Latter, and that's pretty much what we do. (Actually, the same is true of simple prescription drugs, too, as vets bills are the worst ).

What do y'all do during the winter?

I basically turtle in for 5 months but there has to be better choices, right?
11-10-2018 , 01:51 PM
Warm yourself with the fiery injustice that you're not wealthy enough to winter in Costa Rica.
11-10-2018 , 01:59 PM
Work? I don’t understand the question.

i wear shorts and sandals every day. LA winter is warm itself, but there is also the added heat of the fires this year. famous griffith park is on fire. malibu is on fire.

back in wintry sf when it got down to a freezing 55, sometimes i'd put on tons of clothes so i'd be too hot, and pretend i was in same place that was hot. it didn't work that good.

lately i've been listening to this 10 hour youtube video of a storm in the arctic, and imagining i'm some place like that

Hello Maria

My name is Phil Lee Vermin. As I am sure you recall, I purchased a deluxe model bed from your company on Oct 29th, with assurances that it would be delivered by November 4th. To appreciate the trauma this delay has caused, some background is required.

On the night of November 6th, I was attending a popular nightclub in LA when Ms. Taylor Swift, once again, made determined and persistent overtures. These arose from what I can only assume is deep- seated sexual obsession with me. On this evening I was vulnerable, having slept on the floor for several nights. Not only was I suffering from blisters from the hardwood floors, I have a crick (or perhaps a creek) in my neck. I was also bitten by a group of insects (or perhaps one persistent one?) while sleeping on the floor. Clearly not a bedbug, for obvious reasons. The head of one insect is lodged in my skin, but I did detach the body, so all should be fine. Though I do feel faint at times.

Anyway, I digress. While I succumbed to the advances of Ms. Swift, and brought her home to my apartment, things advanced at a heightened pace. I am a gentleman, so I will not say too much more, but I will share, however, that things did reach a point where Ms. Swift suggested we move to something more comfortable, somewhere more horizontal, shall we say.

Well, my first thought was that we could retire to my delightful $10,000 bed. But, as you are aware, Maria (can I call you Maria?), that was not an option. Once again, I will spare the details, but during the ensuing interactions Ms. Swift suffered what I can only assume to be some sort of hardwood floor rash. So, what should have been the most exciting night of her life has…well… instead has left her with a physical scar, not to mention any emotional scars that might ensue.

Maria, I want you to know that I have recovered, and I will be fine. But, I am seeking compensation for the hardship and injuries suffered by Ms. Swift. My lawyer, Mr. Jules Murderous III, Esq, has suggested that to avoid messy and protracted legal proceedings, that compensation in the form of two top-end down-filled pillows and a deluxe duvet (with a top-sheet!!) would serve as reasonable compensation. I will seek to comfort Ms. Swift and keep her litigators at bay if you are able to address my request.

Please advise me at your earliest convenience as to whether these terms are acceptable.

Phil Lee Vermin

PS. The top sheet for the Duvet is a deal breaker.
