im pretty sure i got them off the recommendation from tbob, right here in the pub. i got some $100 tights from there

it's nice to know their clothes are made by workers who get paid a decent wage. no sweatshop labor.

merino wool is great for a warm base layer. I'd shop ibex if they did tall sizes. Instead I end up buying Minus33.

Grr Electric Companies esp San Diego Gas & Electric!!!

This summer, I switched from a flat rate plan to a plan that charges more during peak electrical usage and less during off hours. Well the peak time was 1pm-6pm which definitely isn't my peak time. So I signed up thinking $$$$ baby!

Well I got a letter today stating that due to all the solar installs that they are changing the peak usage period to 4pm-9pm starting December 1st. Which btw is also probably my peak period.

How can they change terms like that after people are signed up?

Next summer, I'm able to change to a new plan again.
