bloodlines was good and is a finished product
just watched rectify that filthy recommends. it was ok. made it through, but it was really slow from middle to end and quite cringeworthy in parts.

Is wank filtered?

Edit: no

I had a dream last night where there was some buzzfeed app to generate your combination prog rock album title/rapper name/something else, and mine came out as ‘too tired to wank’

Just so you know.

I'm back in SF for thanksgiving. Man, it's really heartbreaking to be back here. Everyone is so damn rich it makes me sick

Why? You should be thankful! They're providing the vast amount of your government funding. Free services for you!

i've been gentrified out of 4 homes? i lost count. my family and friends, and many many other people, who can't afford to live in their homes get squeezed out all the time.

my brother recently lost his home(for the ~7th time). his friend is letting him live in his basement. so now my brother, his wife, and daughter are living in a basement. a few months ago they were in a 2 bedroom flat, struggling to pay ~3k a month rent. the rent went up to ~5k a month so they had to leave.

the landlords are all millionaires. they don't need the extra 2k a month

Who walks way from $24K/year? I'm sure they're using it to help fund their charitable giving.

I know I mentioned this the last time you brought this up but if I was in your family's shoes, I'm moving somewhere I can afford and have a much better standard of living.

That's ridiculous putting up with those conditions.

I didn't mean for that to be as harsh and uncompassionate as it sounds.

will you count it as #8 when his buddy kicks him out of the basement? are we supposed to feel sorry for the poor guy who pays 3k in rent for years and has never bothered to buy a house? lol. he can buy (or rent) a very nice home in much of the country for 3k a month.

(almost deleted this when I realized I let filthy bait me into responding to his ridiculousness, but whatever)

He can have this house for $2500 a month and spend the leftover 500 on a hoodie or something:https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_ren...617_rect/9_zm/

just take his kid out of school. leave all his family and friends. don't worry about a job. leave the place he's lived his whole life.

rich people come and take over. no problem. just go somewhere else.

Well...yeah. Or you are choosing to stay with the situation you are in. Seems like after a cost/benefit analysis your brother has decided that it is in his best interest to stay. On top of that, complaining is just a bad look. Debbie Downers and Negative Nancies really grind my gears.

Whilst “Complaining makes me sad” isn’t really much of an argument, I think at this point the discussion belongs in the it’s all government’s fault because of the failure to permit housebuilding & other politics thread.

Obv all the people want to live where filthy lives and you gotta pay for that luxury.

Oh come on, stop trolling. You can't just let those greedy developers build housing for all of the people who want to live in the city. It's morally abhorrent to build homes for other people.

It's the fault of immigrants like ibavly for taking housing from the natives.
