that's what the dressing is for.

you like celery. it's very similar. cucumbers too
05-05-2020 , 08:49 PM
celery and cucumber have got much more flavour than iceberg lettuce

dressing is meant to "enhance the flavour", not "bring flavour to where once there was no flavour"

HP book 2 started slow but came on at the end with a gripping finish.

Now to kick off a run of the best. Tomorrow.

Anyone up for a virtual home poker game sometime later this week?

Feeling kinda isolated

Would need to deposit on ACR tho; is it difficult to do?
05-06-2020 , 12:41 AM
Been playing on the Pokerrrr2 app and just settling up afterwards; Suq has played
05-06-2020 , 12:51 AM

if your app does, i'd play on that if i could. settling up after though would be hard. i don't have any of that fancy internet transferring money stuff lol

also, fair warning i do play professionally. seriously lol.

i remember when pog first found that out, no one could believe it because i was such an idiot in werewolf lol

I will ask about the lentil stew.

You might have some crappy iceberg lettuce in Europe...

What times tend to work best for you guys?

8pm-1am UK time is realistic for me.

Just win a freeroll on ACR. I did that and have about $4 now.

I'm not a vegetarian but I am a salad fan.

My salad dressing is olive oil, vinegar, fresh garlic, pepper

I used to drink a gallon of milk a day

I'm not a milk drinker. I will bake/cook with it. The only cereal I eat with milk is Cap'n Crunch.

We put a bit of mustard in our dressings as an emulsifier.

fairly rare I feel I've managed an unimprovable takeaway order, but managed it this evening

local bbq place, lamb pastrami flatbread is an obvious pick, but it's quite small on its own

so pair it with a kid's meal of a brisket slider and a half portion each of chips and coleslaw

just nailed it, perfect one person order

I started chopping up lettuce for salad and it's much improved them. I use mix greens of some kind. Maybe everyone already did this.
05-06-2020 , 06:05 PM
If you need a morning pick me up besides coffee, pickle jalapeño juice is a suitable alternative
05-06-2020 , 07:46 PM
this is the salad I had last night:

I will often chop mixed leaves. Depends what mood I'm in

In theory I agree with this, but I admit that I am an old and iceberg lettuce with chickpeas, mushrooms, tomatoes, and thousand island dressing tastes like childhood to me. And canned green beans. So many evenings my mom would serve that alongside spaghetti.

Also as delicious as balsamic vinegar is, I still tend to lean toward fresh lemon juice as my acid. I like cut up apples in my salads and the lemon is just a better foil.
