Filthy, I was thinking... (while driving home)

I know you've been inside and not getting out very much. Have you ever thought of playing video games? More specifically, games like skyrim where you are immersed into another reality. You get to solve quests, explore new lands, save the villages from bad guys.

I play the VR version of Skyrim and I really enjoy just walking through the forest and listening to the rushing water in the adjacent stream. It's so real!

Another great game but a little different is 'The Witness'. It is a beautiful 3d world where you walk around and solve hundreds of really cool logic puzzles. This game is also nice for quick little bites. Easily played in 15 minute time frames.

thanks mark!

i've been researching state parks. i think i'm gonna drive around to some and try to take a walk. a few are open to local residents. they say don't drive there. it's closed to cars and there is no parking. but it's open if you walk or bicyle there. so i might drive there and see how close i can park and walk in. if it's doable. i can do that like once a week.

Good point. I'd assume you would use a laundry service.

Buying food for an entire week has made me realise that I'm atypical.

For 1 week:

3 cucumber
3 packs of radish
3 packs of celery
2 bags of carrots
6 packs of tomatoes
10 lettuce

That's just me.

My wife has around 10 pints of milk in a week too.

With my family home, I got tired of buying 4 gallons of milk for less than a week. So I bought 6 gallons yesterday.

That order better also include a case of salad dressing.

no. Dog was begging for food today so she got offered a lettuce leaf. Suddenly wasn't hungry.

Vegetarian. I completely agree.

I have some olive oil and cracked black pepper. There might be a bottle of caesar dressing in the fridge, but I haven't touched that for weeks.

Keto people are always blabbering on about how radishes can be cut and fried as a replacement for French fries. Any truth to this?

Wish I could like celery. Would be the perfect answer for my peanut butter.

I love radish.

Just to clarify, your wife buys 10 pints of milk, or she produces 10 pints. (I don't remember how old your younger child is - might not be weaned.)

Haven't heard of radishes but I've had carrot fries and those were okay.

https://www.purplecarrot.com/plant-b...d-carrot-fries

"Bake the carrot fries
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Peel the carrots and cut into 4 inch long sticks (you want a fry shape). Add to a baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bake fries until tender and brown in places, about 10 to 15 minutes."

Anyone seen After Life with Ricky Gervais?

Trying to find something new on Netflix and it looks alright

Big fish is good, kokiri has no feels.

In a jam you can survive on jars of salsa.

I liked it, but it's definitely not for everyone. You probably only need to watch one episode to know if you should bother with it or not.

I get asked from time to time "you like cooking?" by the checkout person. It took me a while to realise that it was because we buy ingredients, rather than prefabricated meals

Picking up my request at the end of last month: bloo - you recommended eBay for refurbs? Are there any brands worth focusing on? Is dell still ok/decent value?

I just want a home laptop for nothing more powerful than kerbal.
