True. However, the coversation and end result are likely to be very different if you haven't declared it.

yeah obviously you should declare it if you bring more

probably just ask why you're bringing it in

Hey filthy forget Bora Bora and take a model to this

If someone could work out how I get from the airport to Hyde park, that’d be great, too. The conference organiser says lyft or Uber, we don’t have them in wales.
05-24-2018 , 07:51 AM
That's okay. You don't need to bring your own.

Personally I've always used uber, but either will be fine and should function approximately the same.

Download the app, attach a credit card, type in your destination, select what type of ride you want (usually uberX), then go to the pickup area it tells you. Most airports have a designated rideshare pickup and dropoff point.

The app will tell you who the driver is with a picture of them, their vehicle, and the license plate. They show up, you both confirm the other person is the right person and not an axe murderer, they drive you to your destination.

App bills your credit card, you don't have to tip but they have included the option now in the app. You rate them, they rate you, you're done.

Lots of codes for first time riders that exist out there. Usually good for $20 off your first ride or something.

Other option, and actually my preferred way around Chicago when I've been there, is to just figure out the subway. No clue on where Hyde Park actually is and I'm too lazy to do the legwork at this time, but yeah.
05-24-2018 , 02:02 PM
Or just expense a town car. Ride in style and pass that bill along...

i took the train from the airport in chicago. it was really easy. i didn't drink on the train though. i'm not a degenerate. and i didn't take the train in any dangerous parts

some parts of chicago are quite dangerous. if you have your baggage with you, you'd make an especially juicy target.
05-24-2018 , 03:27 PM
You def should not take your sheep with you.
05-24-2018 , 03:49 PM
LOL at not drinking on trains while on vacation

Trick is make a mix drink and put it in a 20oz pop bottle

On the train, sure. Just make sure it is empty when you go through pre-board screening at the airport. (Disclosure: I work at YEG, and so many travelers are ****ing morons or as***les.)

I was flying home yesterday. At Pittsburgh Airport, there were two security areas. The main area and then an alternate area. Well... The line at the alternate area was much shorter. So I figured why not use the alt security location. I didn't know this until I got there but the alt security area was being used to train new TSA people. All parts of the process had new people. Needless to say, the line moved slow. Oops.

Yesterday, I finished all of the current content in the Harry Potter Hogwarts Mysteries mobile game. Whew.

I still recommend for people to NOT install the game.

Interesting. They were a PITA when they used to have them in Nova Scotia. You could not seal the bag after opening it and when you opened a new bag the first pour was often an adventure if the upper part of the bag just flopped sideways on you.

I remember those days, 40 years ago.

This looks ugly. We have much nicer bags in Estonia:

My brother received an Ancestry DNA kit for Christmas. He told me there was no way he's putting his DNA in some global database and gave it to me. I figured I'll use it on one of my kids.

24/42, which I thought was acceptable for never having seen any of the shows.
