Codenames 3 way championship thread - Puzzles and Other Games Forum

Hello

This is the championship game for the following teams:

D: Nails/JM3
F: D1iab/Eric
B: PC94/Dizzy

The most recent suggestion was to play the first to three wins, but I'm open to suggestions.

If we get a format nailed down, I'll rand a color rotation/boards/etc.

Six rounds, all colour permutations? Is that too many games?

Three rounds, cycling the colours? Ties broken by total words.

first to 3 wins or 6 total games with each color permutation work for me.

3 rounds w tiebreakers by words doesn't sound as good.

I think first to three is pretty much the same as the 6 round plan. In both cases, you might need to play a 7th game tiebreaker. First to three just ends a team locks up the victory, which seems good to me.

I'll give it another few hours. By this evening I'll rand a color rotation pattern.
Is there any pattern that is better than another?

probably won't clue until tomorrow unless my turn is soon, nearly my bedtime

Was sure "Yard" was going to be one when I 1st scrolled up to the board.

It might still be one since the clue is "bird" & not "birds" buuuut not sure how I would know which bird to take out, so will start here.
