I do slightly resemble those sheep when I'm post cruise specialty restaurant..

Just fat and still nibbling ****, not moving otherwise

On HAL, their Italian specialty restaurant is only an extra $15 a head. LOOK AT THIS MENU. Everything was amazing; we destroyed this place repeatedly.

$15 all you can eat

I was shopping at Costco this afternoon. I saw someone return a worn, weathered, graffitied childrens play kitchen for a full refund. It made me think of pwnsall.

You have to love Costco.

Nope, they just need a rough date when it was purchased so they can look up the receipt.

That's disgusting.

More so but close to encounter I had when working at a grocery store in the south a few years back

Her: I'd like to return this fish.
Me: ok what's wrong?
Her: I left it outside in my car.
(Its the middle of summer, close to 100° outside)
Her: I get double back on that since it's a gtd fresh item, right?
....

Being rich is a crime against humanity, you tell ‘em filthy!

Unless I ever get rich in which case it’s perfectly justifiable.

it's mind blowing to me that anyone who interacts with these mega rich exploiters doesn't treat them like the total scum they are, worse than murdering rapists. but people look up to them!!!

I mean, there's almost no way they don't contribute more value to society than some poker player who hangs out with models and whatever else.

I see someone beat me to it.

I only drank absinthe one time on basketball tour, deep behind the iron curtain. There were three of us doing rounds - I wussed out of the final one, our power forward was ok but our point guard was later found half way up a tree having a conversation with it.

Good times. Either that year or the next one, our biggest drinker/my roommate challenged an aging russian, possibly ex olympian, to a slivovice drinking contest, & I got to nurse him through the night in the recovery position.

A similar situation to that in my youth caused me to swear off alcohol for quite a bit of time.

Tesla shareholders approve CEO Musk's $2.6 billion compensation plan

Quote:
Musk could own as much as $55.8 billion in Tesla stock and more than a quarter of the electric car company in the next decade if he hits all targets of the new plan.
Oh and:

Spoiler:
Quote:
Tesla was valued at about $52.46 billion at Tuesday's closing price, according to Thomson Reuters data. Its shares have fallen nearly 12 percent since the pay plan was announced.

so he's a hero because the tens of thousands of workers get 2.6 billion and he gets 55.8 billion just for himself?

No he gets 2.6b and if things go well, he can get up to 55b... (over 10 years)

BTW, SpaceX opened a design center just north of me. They are hiring like crazy.

Does the value of stock rich people have in their companies even matter that much? How would the effectively pay their workers this "money". They can give out stock but probably don't really want tons of it being sold around
