You don't understand why girls bring other girls into it first simply because you aren't a girl. You don't have pregnancy to worry about and you don't know what it feels like to have a pregnancy scare. Girlfriends are there to support you no matter what the outcome is. Your bf is coming along basically for the sweat. See the difference?

Its not like she aborted his baby without telling him. She went to find out IF she was pregnant without him.

If they were married, I could understand him being mad. But... they are not married, he has no claim to knowing first. Its her body.

i just stabbed like a 1/2 inch of tortilla chip in my hard palette, for those of you using the metric system thats like 1.2 centimeters. for those of you from the UK gums are those pink things that hold your teeth in place.

oh god im awake after adult swim...thats not good
02-04-2012 , 07:07 AM
yeah, honestly, I probably wouldn't alert the guy if I was just a bit paranoid. If it was like "hmm, haven't had a period for 3 months and I'm vomiting in the mornings" then I'd probably inform the guy

I think it depends on how easily the girl is spooked. If it's like "I'm 3 days late zomg" then in 99% of the cases she's not gonna be pregnant, but girlfriends will always say "just do a test to put your mind at ease!". If you told the guy, they'd auto think terrible terrible situations, whereas rationally girls know it's unlikely but want to just make it 100%.

You know how men find it annoying when girls whine at them about their problems, and don't want the men to offer solutions? That's because they have girlfriends to offer solutions

Only idiots need a test at 3 months lol! But then again there is that show 'I didn't know I was pregnant" which I occasionally see clips of when talk shows make fun of it. That show = God help mankind we are doomed.

Anyway, I think a week is standard "start worrying" time
02-04-2012 , 07:17 AM
See, (tmi) a week wouldn't concern me. I'd probably worry after like...3 weeks.

But yeah, 3 months is lulz, but I know morons who have experienced that
02-04-2012 , 07:23 AM
sounds like you sinners are having way too much sex.

and my super hero name is emotional tampon man
02-04-2012 , 07:29 AM
and THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how you turn the pub into ladies night. Periods and pregnany tests.

Is that not what a relationship is for? If she thinks her boyfriend wouldn't support her if she's pregnant the relationship is basically over.

lol wut, if I was so late that I'd start to worry I would tell derwi first!
but admittedly I don't really have female friends I would trust enough with this... my best friends are all guys.

Thats not how I meant 'support'. I mean, your girlfriends are not having a baby so if you do in fact happen to be pregnant they are right there to say "everything will be fine, etc girl bull**** you need to hear" whereas depending on the length of the relationship and the age of those involved there is a chance the guy will have an undesired response, even unintentionally.

You guys do realize its a HUGE deal for a chic to find out shes about to be a single mom, right? Sure, its a big deal for the man too, but the female sacrifices more, esp her body and her ability to date in the future should the relationship not work out.. (This is all assuming she would continue with the pregnancy) If I knew my gf's longer or better than the guy, I would 100% always tell them first, and feel like I was doing nothing morally wrong.

If in case of pregnancy the girl would be a single mom there shouldn't be any unsafe sex at all imo.

I must have missed the point when we started talking about single mom.

Not being married = single mother wrt to most government issues, employers, older family members, etc etc
