Went on a road trip this weekend.

We minimized our stops to just whenever we needed to fill the tank. We wore masks when we went inside but almost nobody else we saw anywhere were wearing any.

Coming back, we had to go through the Florida border covid checkpoint on I-95.

After about 30 minutes we got to the checkpoint lady. She asked what state we were coming from. We replied "North Carolina". She waved us through.

Interestingly, we saw a ton of cars with New York license plates heading the same direction as us.

I'm getting sick of my kids. They're constantly arguing, sniping, and irritating me. I feel more like a referee that a dad.

Yeah - I feel like my kids have it pretty good, but they really grate on each other because they are spending so much time together, & my older one has been having some emotional outbursts lately over completely ridiculous things.

It's hard to remember how important routine is for children, & how thrown off they can get without it.

Yes. I grind and French press most of my coffee. It's fresh and smooth. You can mix and match your own beans to adjust taste and strength.

I think I just turned hipster.
