I have low self-esteem and am not all that secure in much.

I think it's combo of moving 3 times in jr high, very hard to make friends in those years + my dad being very tough-lovey and my mom not being comfortable talking to me about Real Life. I wasn't told I was smart or cute or anything. my grades and my sports performances mattered but even when I did well, it was a pat on the back, that's it. not many hugs and I think that's a big deal. and I never had "the talk" with my parents, learned from my friends. they made some mistakes with me imo.

But there is no Hockey or Basketball in Sept.

October is best because all 4 of the major sports are going in one form or another.
