my friend posted about her dog dying on fb. she loved that dog like crazy, but it was a truly terrible dog. i mean he was sweet to her, but to everyone else he would constantly attack them. seriously. if he was ever free and able to attack he would attack. she couldn't allow him around other people. it was terrible. and if he wasn't able to attack he would constantly bark ear splittingly loud.

so in the comments someone posted "all dogs go to heaven" and i almost replied "not this one"

i had a dog like that myself. she was AWFUL! attacked everyone all the time. she especially loved to attack tiny dogs and human toddlers. but man, i loved her to death. she died around 20 years ago, and i'm still pretty tore up about it. and i dream about her.

but she never barked! so that was nice.

What can I say, they nominated a beautiful, funny, smart, successful young woman who I find charming, relevant and altogether delightful. If Ms. OOT wants to be more "woman of the year" and less "wet t-shirt contest" I'm happy to support it.
