I was at my annual physical last month. I was telling my doctor that when I get a cold or bad allergies, my nose would run like a faucet. I end up using a box of kleenex and a sore nose. Also, antihistamines would effectively be sugar pills. Well except for things like benadryl which puts me to sleep.

Well he said that he has the solution for me (I was dubious). He gave be a prescription for 0.06% ipratropium bromide nasal spray. Well this week I came down with a cold and tried the stuff. It works AMAZING. It will stop a running nose almost instantly. Unbelievable.

Have a runny nose that won't stop? Give this a shot. Why isn't this available next to the zillion of ineffective cold medicines?

Most of this seems to have faded away as an issue. Strong vote for the power of the banned list! Categories A and III both seem largely redundant now, I think this is best rolled into a simpler format:

I need some advice. I'd really like to set up a camera in the stable that I can monitor the ewes from, to see when they'll be lambing.

• The stables are ~50m? from the house.
• there is electricity at the stables, but it's on it's own circuit, so I can't use an internet thingy that runs through the ring main
• there is a line of sight from the house to the stables, but it's the wrong bit of the stable and the wrong bit of the house

What's my best/cheapest shot to set up a camera in the stable I can check at night without getting out of bed?

How about just running some coax? I assume you only care about it for a few months.
