welp... went to my second ever class tonight, and performed for the first time. after the performance the teacher spent 90% of the critique just reeming me, telling me how much the scene sucked. *sigh*

he wasn't saying i sucked, just that the scene was a waste of time because it was too simple, not good writing. it was from a tv show. he wants me to do plays, like ****ing boring ass **** arthur miller, and **** like that.

Haven't been to any of the three, unfortunately. Kenji Lopez-Alt was posting pictures of Colombian food on his twitter relatively recently (I think his wife is Colombian) but I didn't pay too much attention other than some minor drooling.
