I can make the grammar, no problem, I think, but I need to know how to convert it to java script and then where to put it to make it work.

I'm working in Windows
Bump, I’m looking at you mark_k/WN.

If this thread isn’t about me getting free tech advice, then what is it for?

Yeah, you're right. I went and dug up the post:

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/s...postcount=5528

Not quite as controversial as I remember, but still pretty stupid.

Feb '12 was a pretty eventful month in POG history as it turns out. It also included Systo moving to the Orkneys to follow an amazing business opportunity, Chips calling Annie's dad/Annie getting committed, my VB vending machine arriving, and PUB games galore.

I think it was also the first time that the pubs went monthly, and there were over 10k posts that month. Lots of old regs I've since forgotten about in there, too. Was a pretty good walk down memory lane.

Spoiler:
No good pubs since 2012.

The pilot of Justified is one of the worst episodes of television I have ever seen, but people tell me that following S1 it's a contender for top 50 TV shows of all time.
That's a bit of an exaggeration, but yeah, most people agree that Justified got much better from s2 onward, once it went from episodic to serialized. But I still liked s1 anyway.

It's also way better than a just a top 50 show imo.

Imagine a pub having 10k posts these days.

I miss those times.
12-10-2018 , 11:09 PM
Probably dont even get 10k posts a year now.

The Tyson Cosmos crushs the old Sagan Cosmos on almost all fronts. It's written better, has better production values and is nowhere as boring and dry.

And I really liked the Sagan Cosmos.
12-10-2018 , 11:27 PM
Just imagine if there was a Mike Tyson Cosmos

Dr horrible isn't a t.v. show.

12-11-2018 , 12:46 AM
If they are and anyone asks just tell people they were the sheets from the Hollywood big shot’s place in The Godfather
12-11-2018 , 01:31 AM

Not quite. This actually plays into the point I was making. You need some reason to try it out. You aren't going to put an effort into getting to like it unless you want to like it - whether it has an appealing concept or star, or whether your friends like it. I will give a show time to prove itself if the concept appeals to me.
12-11-2018 , 02:07 AM
are your tastes in books and movies also unusual?

You're missing out on a lot of good stuff with this thinking fwiw...you know what they say about assumptions. Some of my favourite shows ended up being ones where the concept didn't really appeal to me at all.

Anyway, you've said a lot about stuff you don't like, but what shows do you like?
12-11-2018 , 09:24 AM
Justified being ranked so highly seems strange. Show seemed fine but not excellent in any way.

Blacklist was good but gave up on that.
12-11-2018 , 09:32 AM
All these golden age of TV shows are so engaging with rich characters and compelling plots, it’s really exhausting. Sometimes I just like to settle down with NCIS to watch a couple of petty officers get killed, the investigators casually break all due process rules by hacking electronic info, and finally someone go down in a hail of bullets but that’s ok because they’re bad guys ldo.
12-11-2018 , 09:32 AM
Also, the wire is pretty good, but it’s massively overrated. /hottake.

What're some jobs where you trust the person that they aren't scamming you or messing with you?

Some people I don't trust , lawyers, fast food workers, male doctors, car salesman, car repair, realtors, insurance agents, female selling me clothes, probably any salesman.
