i heard it on NPR national public radio, it's about the closest thing we have to BBC. it's for rich white people. if you know michael pollen, he's into it. his book "omnivore's dilemma" was pretty good when it came out ~10 years ago. idk how it holds up.

Being an intellectual elite I'm sure kokiri does at least half the cooking.

Scrolled by and saw filthy talking about BBC for rich white people. Turned out to be a much different post than I imagined.

Fyp

And believes it’s an art that enhances daily life rather than a chore that merely enables the taking-on of fuel.

I've just found a picture of Mark and kokiri's wife

To be fair Mark has a real job while kokiri is an academic who makes enough to culturally appropriate being a sheep farmer just for the luls.

Cooking like filthy plays poker is overseasoning everything then blaming people's taste buds for being wrong.

pretty much

different people think crazy ass **** about me. some people think i'm a total maniac who doesn't give a **** about lighting money on fire. some people think i'm a total nit. some people think i crush poker and win all the time. some people think i'm a fish who loses almost every time

i got slow rolled last night, and a few nights ago too. the last time i was slow rolled was years ago.

smoke alarm went off above my bed tonight. i was annoyed af. then realized it was a real fire! i was in my bed at the time. the smoke detector detected it before i did. a candle started a fire. i used my lightening fast wit and reflexes to quickly smother the blaze. no harm done. but my bedroom stinks. it was surreal to see a small fire in my bedroom.

i'm sure i would have noticed the fire any second, but pretty impressed the smoke detector spotted it so fast. the ear shattering alarm was so loud, i pushed the button to stop the alarm before putting out the fire

Grats!

What area are you researching in?

I think I have reached peak Christmas shopping -- I had an Amazon box on my doorstep today and had zero ****ing idea what was in it.

While I'm here mumbling random unintelligble stuff, glad to be off the hook for having to track down Minecraft for the Switch, someone else bought it already. Whew!

Also: Anyone have any experience with a cheap lighting setup for photography? I've got a backlog of stuff to sell online that I've been procrastinating on because my photos look like crap due to bad lighting.
