Things currently getting my goat:

1) when windows tells you your hard drive has 60giga, rather than 50giga 'cos i'm gonna eat 10giga storing ****ing useless files you can't delete.
2) stupid saturation, or whatever it is that people do with photos to make them look all 'deep'. Here some photos of Pripyat, the town abandoned due to the chenobyl disaster, and the reactor itself. You'd think that the realisation of mankind's hubris and the results of the worst nuclear disaster in human history might be enough to make the image dramatic enough, but oh no, we have to make it all spooky looking. Grrr.
