i don't think mr in between gets much better. if you don't like after a couple episodes, then it probably just isn't for you.

"War of the worlds" is the latest adaption of HG Wells book. Its a French/English collaboration series thats very very loosely adapted from the book, but, its really addictive and has some really incredible acting in it

Mr Inbetween is definitely overrated but at only 30 minutes per episode for 26 episodes it's not too much of a time investment and it's plenty enjoyable enough to finish it (the most recent season was the end of the show).

these are all great shows. maybe not all to your taste.

veep - absurdly silly, but hilarious, brilliant. i think my favorite comedy of all time

barry - probably the best current show

rome - probably my all time favorite show. might be like 7 years old or so. but still holds up

the boys - season 1 is so much fun. season 2 wasn't as good

24 - 20 years old! so some of it kinda sucks, but the good stuff is elite

spartacus - episode 1 sucks. skip it.

killing eve - really fun show. you should like it from the opening scene. if you don't like the opening scene you can skip the whole show imo

Rome is a good show, but is about 15 years old.

Orville and stargate are both solid. I just started ravens quest and am digging it.

expanse - i love this show. and i did not like it at first. i really really love the books

bsg - coming up on 20 year old iirc, but this probably is still a great show

caprica - bsg prequal. very underrated. canceled after one season, but i liked it

i love all the star treks, except discovery.

In post 42 you said you haven't seen West Wing or Band of Brothers. Both of those are pretty great if you haven't remedied that already.

Season 1 is a top 2 season

Pui Pui Molcar is my favorite show of the year.

i just watched the first episode of one of the later seasons. and it's the first episode all takes place before 7am. jack bauer is handcuffed twice and tied up once, and while he's tied up he bites a man in the neck to death

I have seen all of Fargo and Narcos. Both fantastic. Seen all of Justified, great show. Seen first two seasons of Ozark, great show. Seen first three seasons of The Last Kingdom, pretty good. Will continue those at some point. So yeah these are great suggestions, but I've seen most of it, but guess I'll give the other two a shot at some point.

I've watched first episode of veep, didn't get into it. Barry was pretty fun, only seen first season of it. Need to see Rome. Others of the boys, 24, spartacus, killing eve I'll add as maybe. I watched some of 24 when it originally aired. The plot twists did get pretty hilarious at some point.

Maybe I'll add some of Zeus' and filthy's sci-fis to my list too. So I now have a huge backlog of things to watch. Thanks all.

Oh yeah and these are still on my list.

I've liked everything from Sorkin since 2010, so not sure why I haven't watched West Wing yet. Will get to it eventually. And yeah Band of Brothers, I have so high expectations for that one.

the detectorists is one of my favorite shows. def not for everyone though. kokiri recommended it to me. and i love it sooooooooo much!
