POG PUB APRIL 2017 (LC;NSFW): Too Cool To Be A Fool POG PUB APRIL 2017 (LC;NSFW): Too Cool To Be A Fool

I live in the middle of nowhere and I have 100mbps. Surprised at this welsh failure

Three things:

1) Congrats to bloo!

2) I hung out with benneh this weekend. We talked about the ineffable melancholy of mortality. He's a really cool guy.

3) well named, was it you who said in Anniversary that you're moving to Paris? if so, cliffs? apologies if you've talked about it in a previous pub that I missed.

i measured internet speed and it was like 10 Mbps so i unplugged and plugged in both router and modem and now it's 70 or so

my question is, why the hell does plugging and unplugging a router/modem help?

and why does my internet go down completely sometimes and that is the solution?

So I got invited to a wedding.

The groom is my same age (31). I think the bride is in the same age range.
Question: should I wear a suit?

I haven't been to a wedding in 15 years so I have nfi how these things work.

do you want to meet a woman or man or get laid?
04-25-2017 , 11:00 AM
it clears out the memory, routing tables and whatnot, similar to rebooting a computer

also the reason they say to leave it unplugged for a minute or two is so any capacitors have time to discharge

No, I don't want to be the only idiot in a suit (or the only idiot without a suit) at a wedding.

I don't really want go to the wedding but I don't want to offend the guy that is getting married.

Nah, I said I'd totally move to Paris if I could. It's not actually a thing at the moment. I spent a couple weeks there last year on my honeymoon.

Punctuation matters. I'm half asleep and it the first time I read it, it looked like this.

Khakis and a blazer, solid middle ground.

You wouldn't be, if you knew anything about ****ty UK infrastructure. We like to invest mostly in telling ourselves we have the best infrastructure in the world, rather than in actually improving the infrastructure

Yes, unless stated explicitly otherwise, and even then maybe.

Pros: half decent internet, few gate thieves.
Cons: little in the way of coal, can't use W as a vowel.

I'm going to a wedding this summer the invitation for which includes a statement about not wanting to be too stuffy so don't fret about the dress code, and make sure you can win a sports day race in your outfit, but then says "but we're not total slobs, so no jeans, t shirts, flip flops, or shorts". GTFO, I say.

there's a non zero chance, they wouldn't mind at all if you didn't come. sometimes people are even looking for a way to cut down numbers.

if you don't really want to go, it would suck if you went when they didn't even really want you there.

(willi inspired answer, but more polite)
