I'm sure age/generation has a lot to do with it, but I find the books barely tolerable, but the movies really work quite well. And J K Rowling ought to be world president already.

i remember years ago trying to read the first book and i hated it. i actually never read the books. i just listened to the audiobooks read by stephen fry. THAT'S the format i love.

there is another version of the book read by jim dale, and i can't even listen to that one.

i might be a little unusual.

what do you guys think about eth? or any of the other cryptocurrencys? thinking about investing in some of them
04-30-2017 , 11:00 PM
The volatility in all the other coin markets is so ******edly large that it's really sketch to invest in any of them longterm imo, though there is a lot of hype for eth. You're about a week late on that one if you wanted to get in for cheap since it went up 60% or so.

ya. they are all trending up though it seems. other people might also want to diversify their crypto currency, so as btc rises, all of them might rise too?

Lots of them only trade versus the bitcoin. It's tough to find reputable markets that trade small altcoin vs USD. Some of them trade vs USDT, but that's tied to bitfinex I believe and that's a whole other issue

Outside of BTC, I think the only other coin with a growing following is eth. However, I speculate that it's long term outlook is tied to bitcoin falling down due to fractures of the blockchain or uncorrectable flaws in BTC.

I only own BTC.
